Formula E returns to the streets of Monaco, with drivers ready to take the challenge of FP1 ahead of the iconic Monaco E-Prix double-header.
Pascal Wehrlein arrives in the Principality leading through Driver’s Championship after reclaiming the top spot in Berlin. Eduardo Mortara briefly moved into the lead after Race 1 of the Berlin double header, but Wehrlein fought back in Race 2 and is now three points clear of Mitch Evans.
During a slightly shorter FP1 session, Oliver Rowland was the first driver to run wide at Turn 1, bringing out the first yellow flag of the session.
Maximilian Günther became the first driver to set a lap time below the 1:30 mark, with 14 minutes remaining, but Jake Dennis went quickest just moments later with a 1:28,091.
With the checked flag out, Nyck de Vries went on top of the order, leading the field into the Monaco E-Prix double header.
