The first race of the Formula E Tokyo E-Prix is complete, wound here the provisional results.

Jake Dennis had secured earlier in qualifying his third pole position of the season, outpacing Mortara and Müller, involved in a collision with the wall. Championship leader Wehrlein and contenders Evans and Rowland will start towards the back of the grid instead.

Dennis managed to keep a hold of P1 for the first laps.

Pit Boost strategy upturned a bit the standings, with Buemi and Vergne slotting into the podium positions.

On Lap 21, Buemi takes the lead, but he is shuffled back only a handful of laps later by th Pit Boosts. Ultimately Rowland came out on top with a strategical masterclass.

Ticktum as well had a shot at leading the race, but Dennis resumed his position with 5 laps to go.
