Creventic has revealed a provisional five-round calendar for the 2027 Michelin 24H SERIES European Series, with the Red Bull Ring returning to the championship for the first time in a decade.
The season will feature four 12-hour races between March and June before concluding with the Michelin 24H BARCELONA in September. Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Circuit Paul Ricard and Barcelona all retain places on the schedule, while the Austrian round provides the only venue change.
Across the five race weekends, teams will contest 72 hours of racing in Italy, Belgium, Austria, France and Spain. Creventic has designed the compact schedule to offer significant track time while keeping a full-season programme manageable for both professional and privateer teams.
Mugello retains season-opening slot
The 2027 European campaign will begin with the Michelin 12H MUGELLO from 19-21 March.
Mugello has become a regular fixture since joining the 24H SERIES calendar in 2014 and once again opens the European season. The 5.2km circuit provides a fast and flowing challenge through the Tuscan hills, combining high-speed sections with significant elevation changes.
Teams will then have only three weeks before the second round of the campaign at Spa-Francorchamps.
Spa follows with early-season endurance test
The Michelin 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS will take place from 9-11 April as the championship continues in Belgium.
Spa’s combination of elevation changes, variable weather and high-speed corners makes it one of the calendar’s most demanding venues. Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Pouhon and Blanchimont will again form part of a circuit that places significant demands on drivers, machinery and strategy throughout an endurance event.
The opening two rounds therefore retain familiar venues before the championship introduces its biggest calendar change in May.
Red Bull Ring returns after decade away
The Michelin 12H RED BULL RING will take place from 14-16 May, marking the 24H SERIES’ first visit to Austria since 2017.
Creventic previously held a 12-hour race at the circuit exactly a decade earlier, when Herberth Motorsport claimed victory with its Porsche 911 GT3 R.
The 4.3km layout brings a different character from the championship’s other venues. Its relatively short lap combines elevation changes, heavy braking areas and high-speed sections, which should create another distinctive multi-class endurance challenge.
Its return gives the 2027 calendar a new element while maintaining four established rounds elsewhere.
Paul Ricard completes opening four-round stretch
Circuit Paul Ricard will host the Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD from 4-6 June, completing the run of four 12-hour events before the summer break.
The southern French circuit has become another familiar stop for the European Series, with its long Mistral Straight, technical sequences and wide racing surface regularly creating different strategic options.
Following Paul Ricard, the championship will pause for the summer before returning for its only 24-hour race of the European campaign.
Barcelona remains season-ending 24-hour challenge
The Michelin 24H BARCELONA will close the season from 10-12 September at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The event, first held in 1998, predates the 24H SERIES and is scheduled to reach its 28th edition in 2027. It remains the longest event on the European calendar and accounts for one-third of the season’s total racing time.
Teams must contend with daytime heat, night running, changing circuit conditions and constant multi-class traffic across the twice-around-the-clock race.
Its place as the finale also gives the championship a demanding conclusion after four shorter endurance contests.
Creventic targets growth with compact format
Each event will also feature two CR Track Days before the official race weekend. Open pitlane running will allow teams to complete additional testing, refine car set-ups and give drivers extra preparation time before competition begins.
Creventic General Manager Helen Roukens believes the combination of established venues, the Red Bull Ring’s return and a compact structure will strengthen the championship’s full-season appeal.

Radical Cup Europe returns as support series
Radical Cup Europe will also return for a second season as a support category throughout the 2027 European campaign.
The series will remain open to Radical SR3 machinery, including the XX and XXR generations, alongside a separate class for all generations of the turbocharged SR10.
Each weekend will include practice and qualifying before two endurance races, giving the category a presence at all five 24H SERIES European rounds.
Creventic will announce further details on race formats, event timetables, additional support categories and the opening of entries at a later date.
