Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic enjoyed a near-perfect weekend at Brands Hatch, strengthening his championship lead while securing three prestigious GB3 accolades. The Australian not only sealed the 2025 Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup with another double pole but also claimed the Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award and became the first repeat winner of the Omologato One to Watch Award.
Ninovic clinches Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup
Ninovic’s dominance in qualifying has been one of the defining stories of the 2025 GB3 season, and at Brands Hatch he confirmed his place in the record books. Delivering one of the most commanding performances in GB3 history, he secured poles for races one and two with margins of half a second and four tenths respectively.
These results took his season tally to seven pole positions, already a record in the GB3 era, surpassing the previous benchmark of six. With two more events still to come at Donington Park and Monza, his tally could yet stretch into double figures.
So far in 2025, Ninovic has claimed poles at Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps, and the Hungaroring, before delivering doubles at both Silverstone and Brands Hatch. With £300 awarded per pole, he has already earned £2,100 in prize money and will receive an additional £2,000 at season’s end. Rodin Motorsport will also be rewarded with the David Poole-Warren Pole Position Cup and a further £2,000.

He was one of only three drivers all weekend to dip into the 1m18s, and finished just under a tenth quicker than his nearest rival, Freddie Slater.
This Brands Hatch success gave Ninovic his third Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award of the year, following earlier wins at the Hungaroring and Silverstone. Slater remains his closest competitor with two awards to his name, while Patrick Heuzenroeder claimed the Zandvoort accolade.
