Palou Motorsport has confirmed that James Egozi will return to the team for the 2026 Eurocup-3 season. The American driver will therefore continue a partnership that began in 2025 and delivered promising results. By staying with the same team, Egozi secures valuable continuity as he prepares for another competitive campaign.

From karting success to Eurocup-3 campaign

Egozi joined Palou Motorsport for the 2025 Eurocup-3 season and immediately showed strong pace. He also competed in the Spanish Winter Championship, where he finished second in the opening race at Jerez. Shortly afterwards, he claimed victory in the second race at Portimão, proving that he could challenge at the front.

In addition, he secured another podium in the first race at Aragón during the main Eurocup-3 season. Through these performances, he demonstrated consistency and adaptability across different circuits. As a result, both driver and team now head into 2026 with a solid foundation.

Before moving into single-seaters, Egozi built an impressive karting résumé. He began racing in the United States and won the 2017 Florida Winter Tour in the Rotax Micro Max category. He then added several domestic titles before stepping onto the European stage in 2019.

In 2021, he won the WSK Open Cup in the OKJ category, marking his first major European title. He continued to produce strong results and, in 2023, won the WSK Super Master Series in the OK category just before starting his single-seater career. These achievements established him as a driver ready for the next level.

Egozi made his Formula 4 debut in the 2023 Italian F4 Championship with PHM Racing and finished 14th overall. He also competed in the Formula 4 CEZ Championship, where he secured two victories and one pole position.

In 2024, he raced in the Formula Winter Series with Campos Racing, winning one race and finishing ninth despite contesting only selected rounds. Later that year, he competed in the F4 Spanish Championship as a Red Bull Junior. Although he did not take a race win, he scored three podiums and finished sixth in the standings thanks to consistent results.

Egozi focused on 2026 Eurocup-3 return with Palou Motorsport

Now, Egozi returns to Eurocup-3 with greater experience and confidence. By maintaining stability with Palou Motorsport, he positions himself to build on last season’s progress. As the 2026 season approaches, he will aim to transform potential into consistent front-running performances and stronger championship results.
