Following Round 6 of the 2025 F1 Academy season in Singapore, the grid now heads to the Bahrain International Circuit for the fourth in-season test. Bahrain will host F1 Academy for the first time, offering teams a final opportunity to fine-tune their cars ahead of the season finale in Las Vegas next month.

Times across the three days of testing

The Bahrain testing session will take place from October 28–30, featuring a total of 18 hours of track time across the three days. Each car will be allocated seven sets of Pirelli tyres for the test.

Running will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. local time (UTC +3), with morning sessions concluding at midday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the afternoon sessions will run from 14:00 to 17:00, while on Thursday (Day 3), the afternoon session will start slightly earlier at 13:00 and finish at 16:00.

Driver changes

Aiva Anagnostiadis recently underwent surgery on her left foot after fracturing it during training ahead of the F1 Academy Singapore GP. Rachel Robertson, who took part in the F1 Academy Rookie Test in Navarra earlier this year, will step into the TAG Heuer Hitech TGR car for the 2025 F1 Academy Bahrain test in her place.

Red Bull Ford’s Chloe Chambers and McLaren’s Ella Lloyd will miss the final day of testing to take part in the Formula E Women’s Test in Valencia on October 31.

The Drivers’ Championship

Only Doriane Pin and Maya Weug remain in contention for the 2025 F1 Academy title, and with both drivers in their final season, this will be the only opportunity for either to claim the championship. Just nine points separate the pair heading into the season finale in Las Vegas in late November, with 39 points still up for grabs.

Alba Larsen, currently seventh in the standings, is the highest-placed driver yet to score a podium. She secured her sixth top-five finish of the season in Singapore Race 2.

At the previous in-season test in Navarra, Ella Lloyd set the pace, going 0.073s faster than Weug with a best lap of 1:46.259.

Of the current grid, only Doriane Pin and Nina Gademan have previous racing experience in Bahrain. Pin, having competed in the 2023 8 Hours of Bahrain, while Gademan earned two podiums in the opening round of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship earlier this month.
