Hitech has confirmed Keanu Al Azhari as part of its 2026 Eurocup-3 Championship line-up, strengthening its expanding European single-seater programme. The British outfit continues to invest in proven young talent, and Al Azhari arrives with a strong international résumé and recent success alongside the team.
Born in Dubai and racing under the Emirati flag, the 18-year-old steps into Eurocup-3 after building momentum across karting, Formula 4 and GB3 competition. Moreover, his continued relationship with Hitech provides valuable continuity as he prepares for the next phase of his career, alongside Stefan Bostandjiev, Santino Panetta and Gino Trappa.
Progression from karting to formula cars
Before transitioning to cars, Al Azhari established a solid foundation in karting. He captured the IAME X30 Junior title in the UAE and consistently competed at international level, gaining experience that later translated effectively into single-seater racing.
In 2023, he made his car racing debut in both the Formula 4 UAE Championship and the F4 Spanish Championship. He adapted quickly, delivering podium finishes and demonstrating race craft across varied circuits and conditions.
Al Azhari elevated his performance significantly during the 2024 season. He finished third overall in the Formula 4 UAE Championship, scoring multiple wins and podiums while remaining in title contention until the final round.
Meanwhile, he mounted a strong European campaign in the F4 Spanish Championship. Through four victories, nine podium finishes and five pole positions, he secured runner-up honours and confirmed his status as a consistent front-runner.
In 2025, Al Azhari progressed to the GB3 Championship with Hitech. He immediately delivered results, claiming a race victory and five podium finishes in a highly competitive field. As a result, he reinforced his reputation for adaptability and pace at a higher level of single-seater racing.
Alongside his on-track performances, he also gained recognition off the circuit. Ahead of the season, Alpine announced him as a member of the Alpine Academy, further underlining his long-term potential.
Al Azhari eyes Eurocup-3 success with Hitech in 2026
Al Azhari now turns his focus to Eurocup-3, a championship known for its depth of competition and technical demands. The move represents a logical next step as he continues his development within Hitech’s structure.
Keanu Al Azhari said: “I’m really excited to be continuing with Hitech and stepping into Eurocup-3 for 2026. This championship is a great challenge, and I’m looking forward to working with the team and building on my experience to fight for strong results.”
Hitech’s Eurocup-3 Team Manager Bruin Beasley added: “We’re pleased that Keanu continues with us into 2026 as part of our Eurocup-3 campaign. He has achieved strong results across multiple regions and championships, and his pace and commitment make him a valuable addition to our programme. We’re looking forward to seeing his continued development with Hitech.”
With proven results behind him and a familiar team around him, Al Azhari enters the season aiming to convert experience into consistent front-running performances.
