Boutsen VDS has partnered with D’Ieteren Luxury Performance for its 2026 programme in GT World Challenge (GTWC) Europe powered by AWS. The Belgian squad will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R entries across the full 10-round championship, marking a significant new chapter for the team.
The collaboration was unveiled on 9 January at the Brussels Motor Show, where representatives from both organisations presented the new-look project. Thus, both cars will carry D’Ieteren Luxury Performance colours throughout the season, with one Pro entry and one Gold Cup challenger confirmed.
All-factory strength in Pro as Boutsen VDS secures D’Ieteren backing for 2026 GTWC Europe Porsche campaign
The Pro machine will feature a trio of official Porsche drivers. Dorian Boccolacci will contest the full campaign, returning to European competition after a successful season in GT World Challenge Asia.
In the Endurance Cup, he will join defending champion Alessio Picariello and rising Dutch talent Morris Schuring. The same two drivers will partner Boccolacci in Sprint events, subject to availability, giving the team a consistent and highly competitive core across both formats.
The line-up blends championship-winning experience with emerging talent and underlines Porsche’s confidence in the project.
Magnus leads Gold Cup effort
The second Porsche will compete in the Gold Cup class. Gilles Magnus, a former class champion, will spearhead the entry after ending his long association with Audi machinery. Therefore, he will share the car with Swedish rookie Robin Knutsson, who finished runner-up in last season’s Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.
The team will confirm a third driver for the Gold Cup line-up at a later stage, completing the squad ahead of the championship opener.
Boutsen VDS embarks on new era with Porsche
Boutsen VDS switches to Porsche machinery following two successful campaigns with Mercedes-AMG, which produced consecutive Silver Cup titles for Aurélien Panis and Cesar Gazeau. Porsche also enters 2026 on strong footing after Rutronik Racing secured the 2025 Endurance Cup crown.
D’Ieteren Luxury Performance, created as the retail division for D’Ieteren’s luxury car brands, aims to position itself as the preferred partner for exclusive manufacturers. The company focuses on premium service, personalised customer experiences and a responsible approach to people and the planet.
With factory support, experienced leadership and strong commercial backing, Boutsen VDS has laid solid foundations for a competitive 2026 campaign.
