Comtoyou Racing will mount a major three-car campaign in the 2026 season of GT World Challenge (GTWC) Europe, fielding Aston Martin machinery across the Pro, Silver Cup and Bronze Cup classes in both Sprint and Endurance formats. The Belgian squad aims to build on its landmark success at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, where it captured overall victory in the centenary running of the Ardennes classic.

The team will once again rely on its proven #7 Pro entry, while expanding its ambitions with competitive line-ups in Silver and Bronze. By placing one driver in each class across both Sprint and Endurance, Comtoyou has made its full-season title intentions unmistakably clear.

Comtoyou Racing Pro Class continuity for the #7 Aston Martin in 2026 GTWC Europe

Comtoyou retains the celebrated trio of Nicki Thiim, Marco Sørensen and Mattia Drudi for its #7 Pro car in Endurance. The Aston Martin factory drivers will continue their partnership for a third consecutive season, strengthening one of the grid’s most popular and formidable combinations.

The #7 will also contest the Sprint Cup, where Thiim will share driving duties with rising Belgian talent Kobe Pauwels. Pauwels claimed the Silver Cup Sprint title with Comtoyou last season and recently secured top honours in the 2025 Aston Martin Academy programme. The team views him as a future star of GT racing, and his move into the Pro Sprint line-up underlines that confidence.

Youth and experience blend in Silver Cup

Comtoyou’s #21 Aston Martin will compete in the Silver Cup, pairing youth with experience across both formats. In Endurance, Pauwels will join Oliver Söderström, who switches from fellow Aston Martin squad Walkenhorst Motorsport, and Sébastien Baud. Baud brings valuable experience from previous programmes with Dinamic, Boutsen VDS, HRT and GetSpeed.

For Sprint, Söderström will partner 17-year-old newcomer Arthur Dorison. Dorison impressed in karting and finished runner-up in last season’s FFSA F4 French Championship. He now prepares for his first taste of GT competition as Comtoyou invests in emerging talent.

Bronze Cup entry targets American strength

The #11 Aston Martin will represent Comtoyou in the Bronze Cup. In Endurance, Brazil’s Marcelo Tomasoni will team up with American racer A.J. Muss and Canadian driver Kyle Marcelli. Tomasoni joined the GT World grid last year in a BMW, while Muss and Marcelli will make their series debuts.

In Sprint competition, Tomasoni will share driving duties with Felice Jelmini. Jelmini raced alongside Tomasoni in a BMW squad last term and now embarks on his first competitive campaign in Aston Martin colours.

Comtoyou to begin 2026 GTWC Europe campaign with season opener at Paul Ricard

The 2026 GT World season will begin at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April, following the official Prologue on 8/9 April. The opening Sprint Cup round will take place at Brands Hatch on 2/3 May.

With strength across all three classes and continuity in key driver pairings, Comtoyou Racing has positioned itself as a genuine contender for multi-class honours. The Belgian team now prepares to convert ambition into silverware once again.
