Creventic has officially unveiled the 2026 Michelin 24H Series European calendar, introducing an exciting blend of tradition and innovation. Most notably, the addition of Germany’s Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit marks a significant highlight in a five-round schedule designed to challenge teams and captivate fans.

Announced on the eve of the 2025 season finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the calendar provides competitors with ample time to prepare for the upcoming campaign. Furthermore, the inclusion of Nürburgring represents the only change from the previous season, yet it carries considerable weight given the circuit’s prestige.

Nürburgring debut adds fresh challenge

For the first time, the Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit will host a round of the Michelin 24H Series European campaign. This addition also signals the championship’s return to Germany for the first time since 2022.

Positioned as the fourth round in early July, the Michelin 12H Nürburgring will take place from 3–5 July and will follow the increasingly popular split-race format. Consequently, teams must adapt their strategies to suit a race contested in two parts across the weekend.

Formerly home to the German Formula One Grand Prix, the Nürburgring brings both history and technical complexity, ensuring it will quickly become a standout event on the calendar.

A exciting blend of tracks for the 2026 24H Series

As in previous years, the season will begin at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on 20–22 March. The Michelin 12H Mugello will once again run as a split race, setting the tone for the endurance-focused campaign.

Nestled among the Tuscan hills north of Florence, Mugello offers a visually stunning backdrop combined with a fast and flowing layout. As a result, it remains a favourite among drivers and fans alike, providing an ideal curtain-raiser.

Next, the championship heads to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on 17–19 April for round two. Widely regarded as one of the most revered circuits in global motorsport, Spa consistently attracts large grids and delivers thrilling racing.

Famous for legendary sections such as Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Blanchimont and Pouhon, the circuit presents a unique test of skill and bravery. Therefore, it continues to hold a central place in the Michelin 24H Series calendar.

The midpoint of the season arrives at Circuit Paul Ricard in southern France on 5–7 June. The Michelin 12H Paul Ricard, another split-format race, has earned a reputation for producing action-packed contests under summer conditions.

Following its successful return in recent seasons, the venue remains a key highlight. Moreover, its technical layout and long straights create opportunities for both strategic variation and intense on-track battles.

Finally, the season concludes with the Michelin 24H Barcelona on 18–20 September at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This twice-round-the-clock race has become synonymous with the championship’s finale.

Having hosted the closing round every year since 2022, Barcelona continues to provide a fitting stage for title-deciding drama. Additionally, its long-standing association with the series dates back to 2015, reinforcing its importance within the championship’s heritage.

A balanced and exciting season ahead

Overall, the 2026 calendar successfully combines familiar venues with a compelling new addition. This balance ensures both continuity and fresh excitement for teams and fans.

Helen Roukens, General Manager at Creventic, stated: “We are very pleased to once again present an exciting calendar for 2026. It’s always special to return to our traditional circuits that feel like home to the Michelin 24H SERIES, but like every year we are also delighted to surprise our teams with the addition of a completely new circuit to the championship. The first reactions from the paddock have been very positive, and it’s fantastic to see so much enthusiasm from the teams. We are confident that this combination of familiar favourites and fresh challenges will deliver another unforgettable season, both on and off the track.”

In conclusion, Creventic has crafted a calendar that honours the series’ legacy while embracing new opportunities. With the Nürburgring’s debut adding intrigue, the 2026 Michelin 24H Series European season promises to deliver another year of high-quality endurance racing.
