F1 ACADEMY unveiled its 2026 calendar, confirming seven rounds once again held in support of the F1nWorld Championship. The series announced its first-ever appearance at Silverstone, marking an important milestone for its fourth season.

The championship continued to feature 14 races across the seven rounds. It retained the popular reverse-grid format for one race at each event. A 12-day testing programme also supported the season, reinforcing the series’ commitment to providing extensive seat time for developing drivers.

A global calendar with a historic Silverstone debut

The 2026 season returned to Shanghai, Jeddah, and Montreal before heading to Silverstone for Round 4. The British Grand Prix weekend marked the series’ debut at the iconic circuit, 12 years after Managing Director Susie Wolff made her first Free Practice appearance there in 2014.

The series then travelled back to Zandvoort before concluding with two rounds in the United States. Circuit of the Americas rejoined the calendar for the first time since the inaugural season, and the finale once again took place under the lights of the Las Vegas Strip.

F1 CEO highlights series’ role in inspiring women and strengthening grassroots motorsport

Stefano Domenicali said the series, in only three seasons, had produced standout talent and a devoted global following. Domenicali emphasised how it encouraged more women to see themselves in motorsport, on and off the track. He praised Wolff and her team for building such a strong platform and hailed Doriane Pin’s 2025 title as a major milestone. Domenicali added that growing grassroots involvement strengthened the sport and that he looked forward to seeing how the 2026 grid performed.

“In just three seasons, F1 ACADEMY has developed some fantastic drivers and grown a huge and passionate fanbase all over the world. It inspires women and girls to consider a role in motorsport, be that on or off the track, by removing barriers and showing what can be done. I would like to thank Susie Wolff and her team for their drive and vision in creating such an outstanding series, and congratulate 2025 Champion, Doriane Pin, for her incredible achievement.

“I’m also grateful to our race promoters for their enthusiasm and commitment to making F1 ACADEMY a key fixture at their Grand Prix weekends. We’ve also seen fantastic growth in grassroots participation, which is vital for the future of the sport. Next season is set to be another brilliant year, and I can’t wait to see how the 2026 grid performs.”

Wolff hails boosted 2026 F1 ACADEMY calendar

Wolff said the 2026 calendar reflected the momentum the series had built and the growing visibility it had earned in the sport. Highlighting Silverstone and Austin as standout new additions alongside five returning venues, creating F1 ACADEMY’s strongest schedule so far. She added that ending the season again in Las Vegas allowed the championship to close the year with the same energy and style it had shown this season.

“Our 2026 F1 ACADEMY calendar reflects the momentum we’re building and the visibility we’re earning across the sport. Silverstone and Austin are two fantastic additions to our 2026 roster, and returning to five established races gives us our strongest calendar yet, closing once again in Las Vegas where we aim to finish the season with the same style and flair we delivered this year.”

A season set for continued growth

The expanded schedule and strong circuit line-up positioned the fourth season as F1 ACADEMY’s most ambitious yet. With increased visibility, a broader global reach and a renewed commitment to developing female racing talent, the 2026 grid promised another year of progress, opportunity and fiercely competitive action.
