The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans have announced a new global partnership with CrowdStrike, which joins the championship as a premium partner.
Organised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the championship continues to strengthen its commercial and technological partnerships as endurance racing enters a period of rapid growth and innovation.
Endurance Racing’s expanding global platform
The FIA World Endurance Championship currently enjoys one of the most competitive grids in international motorsport. Across the Hypercar and LMGT3 categories, 14 manufacturers have committed to the series, reflecting the championship’s increasing global appeal.
At the heart of the calendar sits the 24 Hours of Le Mans, first held in 1923 and widely regarded as one of the sport’s most prestigious events. Alongside the Formula One World Championship and the Indianapolis 500, it forms part of motorsport’s celebrated Triple Crown.
Meanwhile, the WEC season spans several continents. The championship visits circuits in Qatar, Belgium, Italy, Brazil, the United States, Japan and Bahrain, delivering a truly global racing platform.
Cybersecurity meets endurance racing as CrowdStrike and WEC announce Le Mans partnership
The partnership between CrowdStrike and the WEC reflects a shared emphasis on performance under pressure. Both endurance racing teams and cybersecurity specialists must react quickly to rapidly changing situations while maintaining complete operational reliability.
CrowdStrike specialises in protecting critical systems through advanced, AI-driven cybersecurity technologies. In the context of modern motorsport, such expertise becomes increasingly important as teams rely heavily on real-time data, telemetry and complex digital infrastructure.
As a result, the collaboration aims to strengthen the technological resilience of the championship while supporting its continued innovation.
CrowdStrike expands presence in global motorsport
This agreement also reinforces CrowdStrike’s growing involvement in international motorsport. In addition to its new WEC partnership, the cybersecurity company already serves as a title sponsor of the 24 Hours of Spa within the GT World Challenge Europe championship.
By aligning with two of endurance racing’s most prestigious competitions, CrowdStrike continues to position itself alongside events that demand precision, reliability and cutting-edge technology.
Through this partnership, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans further strengthen their technological foundations while expanding their global commercial network.
