Back-to-back GT World Challenge (GTWC) America Pro-Am champions Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg will return to the grid in 2026. However, this time the Turner Motorsport pairing will step up to the Pro ranks in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO. After securing consecutive Pro-Am titles in 2024 and 2025, the duo now aims to challenge outright in one of North America’s most competitive GT3 categories. Although the move does not count as a technical three-peat, the pair has firmly set its sights on a third consecutive championship.
Turner Motorsport fields a proven partnership with championship pedigree for 2026 GTWC America
Driving for Turner Motorsport, Foley and Rothberg have built one of the most consistent and formidable partnerships in the paddock. Together, they have amassed seven race wins and 12 podium finishes during their title-winning campaigns in GT World Challenge America powered by AWS.
In 2024, they mounted a dramatic late-season charge that culminated in championship glory during the closing hours of the Indianapolis 8 Hour. One year later, they entered 2025 as hunted champions and immediately asserted control, opening the season with victory at Sonoma and leading the standings from start to finish. Now, they embrace a fresh challenge in the Pro category, where factory drivers and elite line-ups define the competition.
Meanwhile, the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO will retain LATICRETE as its primary partner. Nevertheless, the car will debut a refreshed livery for 2026. The new season will begin with a two-day official test before competitive action kicks off at Sonoma Raceway from 25–29 March in Sonoma, California.
Robby Foley, driver of the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO said: “I’m excited to be back with Justin for the 2026 season, debuting a new look for our LATICRETE BMW M4 GT3 EVO. We had a dream run winning three championships across 2024 and 2025, and we’re excited to take the next step into the Pro class. It’s going to be a tough challenge, but with the continuity within our team, I’m confident we can fight at the front.”
Rothberg focuses solely on GTWC America
Meanwhile, 2026 will mark another significant change for Rothberg. The 24-year-old will forgo double duty and concentrate exclusively on GT World Challenge America.
Previously, he competed in GT America Powered by AWS, narrowly missing the 2024 title by a single point before claiming the 2025 championship in dominant fashion. Although he will not defend his bronze-rated sprint crown, his two seasons battling experienced rivals sharpened both his race craft and his command of the BMW M4 GT3 platform.Consequently, he arrives in the Pro ranks better prepared for the step up.
Justin Rothberg, driver of the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO said: “I’m super excited to be returning to World Challenge this season with Robby, Turner Motorsport, and LATICRETE. This season will definitely be a challenge moving up to the pro class, but I think we’ve got a great team and playbook to maximize our chances at success. I know Robby and everyone at Turner are ready for the occasion, and I’ll just have to get used to chasing faster rabbits, and we’ll see what we can do!”
A bold step forward
Team owner, Will Turner added: “I’m looking forward to racing again in SRO with Justin and Robby. Having won three championships with this pair the last two years, I’m optimistic that they will be contenders in the Pro/Pro class every weekend!”
Ultimately, Foley and Rothberg have little left to prove in Pro-Am. Now, they aim to translate continuity, confidence and championship-winning chemistry into success at the highest level. The Pro class will present a sterner test, yet Turner Motorsport’s established foundation and the duo’s relentless momentum position them as immediate contenders when the 2026 season begins.
