Alessandro Giusti is gearing up for his second season in F3 with MP Motorsport. Now with one year of experience in the series under his belt, Giusti has his eyes set on the 2026 F3 Drivers’ Championship title.

An impressive rookie campaign

The Frenchman completed his debut F3 season in 2025, finishing 10th in the Drivers’ Championship with a total of 67 points to his name. He also found himself on the podium twice during the season.

Despite the challenging start to his rookie season, the Frenchman soon found his rhythm in the series. From round 2 onwards, Giusti would score points at every racing weekend, except Silverstone.

His consistency in performance earned Giusti his maiden podium in F3, which came after a 3rd place finish in the Feature Race during the 2025 Spanish GP event. The following weekend in Austria saw Giusti’s strongest result of the 2025 F3 season with a 2nd place finish in the Sprint.

Giusti demonstrated strong race craft and pure speed throughout his rookie campaign in F3. The Frenchman also only faced one retirement during his maiden F3 season, setting a solid foundation to work on for his sophomore campaign in the series.

Preparations with MP Motorsport

The 2026 F3 pre-season testing will take place from 10-12 February at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya in Barcelona. Ahead of the it, Giusti spoke to the official website about the preparations he and MP Motorsport have been doing to prepare for the 2026 F3 season.

The Frenchman also discussed the 2025 F3 post-season test, where he was able to strengthen the bond with the team and connect with his teammates ahead of the 2026 F3 season.

“I’m really looking forward to the year. I mean, we’ve been really good with the team since the start of the post-season test. All three tests went well, and it was quite nice, as well as building up a good relationship with my new teammates. We did some work with the engineers as well during the winter.”

“I think we’ll be ready for the first time in Melbourne with the three days of testing and what’s going on.”

Returning to F3 with MP Motorsport

Giusti will be entering his second campaign with MP Motorsport in the 2026 F3 season. The 20-year-old is confident that his familiarity with the team will be an advantage in getting back up to speed for the new season.

The Frenchman is also looking forward to working with his race engineer, Antonie Broquin, for the second consecutive season. The continuity of their established driver-engineer partnership will be advantageous for Giusti, as effective communication will allow them to maintain a competitive edge throughout the season.

“I think it’s good to be familiar with the team. I know nearly all the people who will be working next year. So it’s a good point. I am staying with the same engineer I had last year, so we have a good relationship, and with the whole team as well.”

Giusti also added that he is excited to race alongside his teammates for the upcoming season. The Williams Academy driver will be entering the 2026 F3 season with new teammates: Mattia Colnaghi and Tuukka Taponen.

“I think I have some good teammates – two that can match up very well against me. We will try to make the small adjustments for the car and for good performance through the year.”

Giusti’s confidence going into the 2026 F3 season

After finishing inside the top ten in the 2025 F3 Drivers’ Standings, Giusti has been working hard to improve during the off-season. The 20-year-old enters the 2026 season hopeful of his chances as a contender for the title.

After multiple points finishes and podium appearances, Giusti is ready to unlock a new achievement. MP Motorsport’s preparation for the 2026 F3 season and the team’s performance during the post-season test have the Frenchman confident in his chances.

“I’ve used the off-season as more of a rest and a break, especially in December. But now I’m starting up again, visiting the team, doing prep on data and reviewing onboards, and as well some media work. So yeah, it’s coming up fast.

“The tests were really good. We did some changes compared to the last time in Monza and I feel like I was quite comfortable with the car for the three days in Barcelona.”

Giusti’s goal for the season

Giusti is looking forward to getting back on track in Barcelona for the pre-season test to see the fruition of his off-season efforts in the 2026 F3 season.

“So, I feel really confident. Now I want to drive again in Barcelona to show the same confidence I had at the end of last season. I would like to fight for a championship. That’s the goal.”

Giusti’s maiden campaign is evidence that the Frenchman is consistent in scoring on track. He will be looking to build on this solid foundation to bolster his chances of clinching the championship. Wins will probably be required.

“I’ve always been quite consistent. I think we’re always fast. That was a good point last year. We just missed a little tenth or two that would mean starting at the front and fighting at the front because I think the race pace was quite nice as well last season. I think the car is quite consistent. That’s why we’re always towards the front. So now we just need to get to that higher consistency.”
