GRS Team has confirmed Andre Rodriguez as its first driver for the 2026 Eurocup-3 season. The 17-year-old will represent the team during the opening year of the championship’s new era, competing in both the main Eurocup-3 campaign and the Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship.

As a result, Rodriguez becomes a key figure in GRS Team’s preparations as the series introduces a new technical platform and a renewed competitive landscape.

A busy rookie year lays the groundwork

Rodriguez made his single-seater debut in 2025 and quickly gained experience across multiple championships. During his rookie season, he contested a round of the Formula 4 Spanish Championship, completed a partial campaign in Italian Formula 4, and raced a full season in the E4 Championship.

Towards the end of the year, he further expanded his experience by entering the final round of the Ultimate Hoosier Formula Cup. Importantly, he secured a podium finish on his debut in Formula Regional machinery, underlining both his speed and adaptability.

Embracing the challenge of a new era

The 2026 Eurocup-3 season introduces a significant change with the arrival of the new Dallara 326. Consequently, teams and drivers face a fresh technical and driving challenge as the championship resets its performance benchmarks.

Rodriguez has consistently demonstrated an ability to adapt quickly to new environments and machinery. Therefore, his arrival provides added motivation for GRS Team as it prepares to tackle the demands of the new car and the evolving championship format.

Rodriguez expressed strong enthusiasm for the dual programme and the opportunity to develop alongside the team.

“I’m really excited to be joining GRS for the 2026 EuroCup-3 season alongside my Italian F4 program. Being part of a dual driving campaign is a great opportunity to keep me developing quickly as a driver, and I’m confident GRS will help me improve to the next level. I’m especially excited about working with the new Dallara 326 as it’s a big step forward from the F4, and I’m motivated to adapt quickly and extract all I can from the car. I am looking forward to working with Josep, growing with the team and achieving strong results this season. Lastly, and most importantly I thank God and my dad for this opportunity to join GRS and can’t wait to see how this season plays out. Vamos!!”

His comments highlight both ambition and gratitude as he prepares for a demanding year ahead.

GRS Team confident in new partnership

GRS Team CEO and Team Manager Josep Trinidad welcomed Rodriguez and emphasised confidence in the combined package. Trinidad said: “We are delighted to welcome Andre to the team and eager to begin working with him ahead of the upcoming season. The new car will be a challenge for both the team and the driver, but we approach it with confidence that the entire package will perform at the highest level and that we can enjoy a strong season together with Andre”.

With a full Eurocup-3 programme, a Spanish Winter Championship campaign and continued Italian F4 commitments, Rodriguez enters 2026 with a packed schedule designed to accelerate his development.

As GRS Team embarks on the first chapter of the new Eurocup-3 era, the signing of Andre Rodriguez signals clear intent. Together, both driver and team aim to combine adaptability, preparation and ambition in pursuit of strong results throughout the season.
