GRS Team has confirmed Andre Rodriguez as its first driver for the 2026 Eurocup-3 season. The 17-year-old American will contest his first full campaign in the championship, which enters a new technical era with the introduction of the Dallara 326.
As the series transitions to the new-generation car, Rodriguez joins the grid at a pivotal moment. Consequently, both driver and team will tackle a fresh competitive landscape defined by new technical demands and a reset in performance benchmarks.
Rapid rise through the ranks sees Rodriguez join GRS for 2026 Eurocup-3 campaign
Rodriguez made his single-seater debut in 2025 and immediately immersed himself in a demanding programme across multiple championships. He competed in several series, including a round of the Formula 4 Spanish Championship. In addition, he undertook a partial campaign in Italian Formula 4 and completed a full season in the E4 Championship.
Later in the year, he stepped up again by contesting the final round of the Ultimate Hoosier Formula Cup. There, he secured a podium finish on his debut in Formula Regional machinery, underlining his ability to adapt quickly to more powerful cars.
Throughout his rookie season, Rodriguez demonstrated clear potential and composure in unfamiliar environments. Therefore, his move to GRS Team represents a natural progression as he prepares to confront the challenges of Eurocup-3’s new era.
Embracing the Dallara 326 Challenge
The 2026 season introduces the Dallara 326, a car that demands greater technical understanding and driving precision compared with Formula 4 machinery. Rodriguez will combine his Eurovup-3 campaign with his Italian F4 programme, ensuring consistent track time and continued development.
He said, “I’m really excited to be joining GRS for the 2026 Eurocup-3 season alongside my Italian F4 program. Being part of a dual driving campaign is a great opportunity to keep me developing quickly as a driver, and I’m confident GRS will help me improve to the next level. I’m especially excited about working with the new Dallara 326 as it’s a big step forward from the F4, and I’m motivated to adapt quickly and extract all I can from the car. I am looking forward to working with Josep, growing with the team and achieving strong results this season. Lastly, and most importantly I thank God and my dad for this opportunity to join GRS and can’t wait to see how this season plays out. Vamos!”
His enthusiasm reflects both ambition and awareness of the step up in performance. At the same time, the dual campaign will allow him to accelerate his learning curve across two competitive platforms.
Team confidence ahead of a new era
GRS Team approaches the upcoming season with optimism as it prepares to integrate Rodriguez into its line-up. The arrival of the Dallara 326 presents a shared challenge, yet the team expresses confidence in its preparation and technical foundation.
“We are delighted to welcome Andre to the team and eager to begin working with him ahead of the upcoming season. The new car will be a challenge for both the team and the driver, but we approach it with confidence that the entire package will perform at the highest level and that we can enjoy a strong season together with Andre,” said CEO and Team Manager, Josep Trinidad
With a promising young driver, a demanding development schedule and a brand-new car, GRS Team now sets its sights firmly on making a strong impression in the opening chapter of Eurocup-3’s latest evolution.
