Hitech has confirmed 16-year-old Argentinian Santino Panetta as its first driver for its Eurocup-3 debut season. The young racer comes from Campana, Buenos Aires, and already carries a reputation as a rising talent in junior motorsport.
Santino made the jump from karting to single-seaters in 2025, when he began competing in the F4 Spanish Championship. Since then, he has impressed observers with his speed, racecraft and calm approach. Despite his age, he shows maturity behind the wheel and adapts quickly to new challenges. Consequently, Hitech views him as an ideal fit for a new project that demands focus and growth.
Hitech steps into Eurocup-3 with clear intent
Hitech will enter the 2026 Eurocup-3 championship and take a decisive step up the European single-seater ladder. The British outfit continues its steady expansion and now targets one of the continent’s most competitive development series. By committing early and naming its first driver, Hitech signals ambition as well as long-term planning.
Moreover, the move strengthens the team’s presence at a crucial level between Formula 4 and higher-tier categories. Eurocup-3 continues to gain recognition as a vital stepping stone for young drivers. The series bridges the gap between F4 and more advanced single-seater categories, while maintaining a competitive and professional environment. Therefore, teams and drivers alike value the championship for its role in shaping future careers.
For Hitech, the series offers a platform to develop talent in a structured and demanding setting. At the same time, the team can refine its technical and operational strengths against high-quality opposition.
Hitech and Panetta excited about partnership
Bruin Beasley, Hitech’s Eurocup-3 Team Manager, highlighted the importance of the programme’s expansion:
“This is another exciting new chapter for Hitech and the growing talent base at the F4-level. Joining Eurocup-3 allows us to broaden our driver development programme and compete in one of Europe’s fastest-growing series. We’re pleased to welcome Santino as our first driver and we look forward to building a competitive team.”
Santino Panetta also shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity ahead:
“Joining Hitech for their Eurocup-3 debut is an incredible opportunity for me. I’m eager to learn and push myself in this new challenge, and I’m proud to be part of a team making its first steps in the series.”
As preparations continue, Hitech and Santino will focus on building momentum ahead of the inaugural campaign. The team aims to deliver strong performances while laying solid foundations for the future. Ultimately, this new chapter blends youthful promise with organisational ambition, setting the stage for an exciting Eurocup-3 debut.
