Iron Lynx has unveiled striking new liveries for its pair of Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 challengers ahead of the 2026 season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The Italian team hopes the refreshed identity will mark the start of another competitive campaign following a promising conclusion to the 2025 season.

Iron Lynx carries momentum from a strong finish in 2025 into 2026 WEC campaign

Iron Lynx introduced the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 to the championship at the opening round in Qatar last year. Throughout the season, the team steadily developed the car as it gained experience in the highly competitive LMGT3 class.

The #61 entry, driven by Maxime Martin, Lin Hodenius and Martin Berry, first scored points at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Later in the year, the trio delivered their strongest result at the championship finale in Bahrain. There, the team narrowly missed out on victory, finishing second by just 0.786 seconds after a dramatic battle for the win.

Updated livery and driver line-ups for 2026

For the upcoming season, Iron Lynx has revised its driver pairings across the two Mercedes-AMG entries. The #61 car will continue to feature Maxime Martin and Martin Berry. However, they will now be joined by Rui Andrade, who previously raced with TF Sport’s Corvette programme. Meanwhile, the #79 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 will be driven by Lin Hodenius alongside returning team member Matteo Cressoni and championship newcomer Johannes Zelger.

Iron Lynx has also introduced two visually distinctive colour schemes for the season ahead. The #61 car will carry a predominantly black livery, while the sister #79 entry will feature a striking blue design. Both cars incorporate elements of the team’s pictogram motif, creating a recognisable visual identity across the pair of entries.

Fans will see the new liveries on track for the first time during the official pre-season Prologue test. The two-day group test will take place on 22–23 March ahead of the season-opening Qatar 1812km at the Lusail International Circuit.

After the opening round, the championship will continue with races at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Interlagos, the Circuit of the Americas and Fuji Speedway before concluding with the traditional eight-hour finale in Bahrain on 7 November.

With improved experience, revised driver line-ups and a bold new identity, Iron Lynx now prepares to take the next step in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s competitive LMGT3 category.
