AKCEL GP has quickly emerged as one of the most ambitious new teams on the international motorsport stage. Originally launched in 2024 as Indian Warriors Racing in the GB4 Championship, the squad was acquired by UK-based entrepreneur Amit Kaushal and rebranded as AKCEL GP. Operating across the UAE, UK, and Italy, the team aims to establish the UAE as a hub for global motorsport while nurturing talent from around the world. In 2025, AKCEL GP expanded into three major feeder series, Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC), and FIA-certified Formula 4.

A cornerstone of the project is the AKCEL GP Academy, which provides drivers with comprehensive training in racing, media, fitness, and technical skills. The 2025 lineup reflects the team’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, featuring Emirati sisters Hamda and Amna Al Qubaisi, as well as Indian drivers Jaden Pariat and Aditya Kulkarni.

For FRECA this season, AKCEL GP’s 2025 roster includes Aditya Kulkarni, Saqer Al Moesherji, and Javier Sagrera. This year has been a difficult season so far, but, AKCEL GP and its drivers continue on their pursuit of stronger results as the championship heads to Austria this weekend. Kulkarni began his motorsport journey relatively recently, starting out in karting in 2021. That year proved highly successful, as he claimed the Junior TKM Karting crown and the “O” Plate Title in the British Open Championship. He also became a TKM Festival winner and secured top-10 finishes in the British Karting Championship in both 2021 and 2022.

In 2023, Kulkarni stepped up to GB4, where he impressed with four podium finishes and a strong fifth place in the standings. The following year, he progressed into GB3, though it proved more challenging, and he ended the season in P19 overall.

For 2025, Kulkarni has made the leap to FRECA, continuing his climb up the single-seater ladder. However, as he adapts to the step up in competition, he is still searching for his first championship points.

Al Maosherji is a young Kuwaiti driver who has been steadily making his way up the motorsport ladder. In 2024, he competed in the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, where he secured one victory and five podium finishes, ultimately placing fifth overall in the standings. Building on that success, he stepped up to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) in 2025. Although still in his rookie season, he is yet to score his first points in the series.

Javier Sagrera (#44)

In his younger days, the Spaniard competed in karting from 2015 to 2019 before moving into single-seaters. Sagrera made his debut in Spanish F4 in 2019 and continued in the category the following year. In 2021, he stepped up to GB3, finishing P10, and improved to P9 in 2022.

His career progression continued in Eurocup-3, where he secured P8 in 2023 before finishing as the runner-up in 2024. At the start of the 2025 season, he joined AIX for his Formula 3 campaign, but later switched to FRECA in July. So far, he has only contested two race weekends in the championship and is still looking to score his first points.
