Already crowned champion, Alex Ninovic entered the Monza weekend without pressure — yet he still fought with full determination. In a dramatic second race featuring multiple safety cars, Ninovic went head-to-head with Deagen Fairclough and Gianmarco Pradel for victory. Despite missing out by just 0.278 seconds, the Rodin Motorsport star left the track smiling.

Reflecting on the race, Ninovic focused not on the missed win but on the thrill of the competition and the enjoyment of pure racing.

“Yeah, it was a good race to obviously start on. Everyone made a little mistake in turn one, so that was a bit unfortunate. Then from there, obviously the safety cars made it interesting for the restarts as well as battling with Deagan and Gianmarco at the front, so that was quite nice. Coming home second is quite good. I’m happy with the race to be battling at the front, having a bit of fun out there last day of the year is quite nice.”

Ninovic’s season has been defined by control and confidence, and Monza showcased that same balance of aggression and composure. Despite interruptions, he delivered a polished performance and demonstrated why he has been unbeatable across most of the year.

Farewell to a trusted machine

With the GB3 title secured and his final race ahead, Ninovic also acknowledged the bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye to the car that brought him so much success.

“Yeah, I’m definitely going to miss it. It’s a real nice car to drive, especially my one. It’s quite fast, so yeah, it’ll be sad but also enjoying it at the same time.”

The champion’s words carried both nostalgia and pride. Over the season, his synergy with the Rodin car has been exceptional, and the results — ten poles, nine wins, and countless podiums — speak for themselves. Even in his farewell weekend, Ninovic remained focused on enjoyment and gratitude.

Looking forward with confidence

For Ninovic, the Monza race was not just another contest but a celebration of a season’s worth of excellence. As he prepares to close his GB3 chapter, he remains fully aware of what he has achieved. The ability to enjoy close, respectful racing while maintaining composure reflects his growth as both a driver and competitor.  His ability to combine precision with enjoyment defines his approach. Monza’s fierce duels and late braking moments were handled with grace, confirming why Ninovic stands out as a complete champion.
