The Nissan Formula E team has unveiled a special livery for the upcoming London E-Prix, in celebration of the launch of the new Nissan LEAF road car. It’s a special teal blue edition of the cherry blossom livery. With the new look, Nissan aims to win the teams’ and manufacturers’ championships as well.
Nissan LEAF is the all-new, UK-manufactured, road car of the Japanese manufacturer. It’s a third generation electric vehicle.
Rowland is the new champion – Nato returns
Oliver Rowland was able to secure his Formula E title for Nissan in Berlin last round. The Briton now returns to his home, with London calling. He says: “I’m feeling relaxed after winning the drivers’ title in Berlin, but we still have the teams’ and manufacturers’ championships to fight for, so we’ll go all in this weekend and enjoy these last two races.”
As Norman Nato committed to World Endurance Racing that weeekend, Rowland had Sergio Sette Camara as his teammate. For the final two rounds of the season, Nato returns to Nissan with the aim to score points again: “I’m confident we can have a strong final weekend of the season.”
McLaren will also race with a special livery
The time has come for NEOM McLaren to say goodbye to Formula E. Going into the London E-Prix, the blue “away kit” was produced in a partnership with Oxagon. Both drivers will compete in special race suits as well, that are designed to match the livery scheme.

“This special edition livery offers a fresh take on our existing design — a purposeful “alternate” livery that shines a light on Oxagon, one of NEOM’s key regions”, McLaren team principal Ian James said. “It represents more than bold visuals; it symbolises a partnership rooted in innovation, collaboration and real-world industrial transformation.”
