For Gianmarco Pradel, the 2025 GB3 Race 2 at Monza was another masterclass in patience and strategy. The Rodin Motorsport driver approached the event with composure, aware that Monza’s long straights and unpredictable nature reward clever timing more than aggression. His calm and measured drive earned him a second podium of the weekend and valuable championship points.
After the race, Pradel described the mindset that helped him stay composed while chaos unfolded around him.
“Yeah, a decent little hack. I mean, race was good overall, pretty happy with how it ended up. Around Monza, you always got to play two steps ahead, so I wasn’t being too aggressive with any of the racing just because there’s so many overtaking opportunities. If something else happens, it can all kick off. Ended up on the wrong side of this battle, but still really happy with the results and really good for the championship.”
Rodin’s momentum continues
Pradel’s podium contributed to one of Rodin Motorsport’s best team weekends of the season. With Alex Ninovic finishing second and Abbi Pulling finishing fifth, the team demonstrated both speed and unity. Pradel praised the collective progress and highlighted how the group continues to improve together.
“Yes, it’s been a great weekend so far. It’ll be really good to finish or get to the end of the season where we’re really still ramping up as a team, so still improving and the sky’s the limit.”
His positivity reflected Rodin’s momentum and long-term vision. The squad’s consistency and mutual support have been central to its dominance in GB3 this season.
Light-hearted team spirit
Beyond racing, Pradel’s interview revealed a more relaxed and humorous side of the Rodin garage. Addressing a playful rumour, he explained the team’s latest inside joke with a laugh.
“Yeah, we’re doing a little sage, yeah.”
Asked for more details, he happily elaborated, saying, “We’ve got a bit of an inside joke. It’s just a bit of banter in the team. My mum was going to coming in to sage Abbi, and now I guess we’re all getting saged, so that’ll be pretty good. A little spiritual experience.”
A key figure in Rodin Motorsport’s 2025 GB3 success
Gianmarco Pradel’s second podium of the Monza weekend was a fitting reward for precision, patience, and teamwork. By combining sharp racecraft with a relaxed mindset, he embodied the professionalism that has defined Rodin Motorsport’s 2025 campaign. His composure under pressure and ability to find joy in the process underline why he remains a key figure in the team’s success story.
