Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel ended his 2025 GB3 campaign on a high with a third consecutive podium at Monza. After strong runs in both previous races, he again displayed calmness and control in Race 3, finishing third behind Maxim Rehm and Deagen Fairclough.
Relieved to finally complete a race without interruptions, Pradel reflected on the satisfaction of a clean, competitive finale.
“Yeah, finally. I mean, it was pretty good. I mean, overall, the weekend was relatively OK, bringing home three podiums, so that was all right.”
He acknowledged that, although the consistency pleased him, the championship outcome left a hint of frustration.
“I mean, it was a shame to drop in the championship, and then, you know, I mean, it’s just been a difficult race two and three relative to others around us, but yeah, I mean, a decent race. Enjoyed it a lot. Just couldn’t make the pass, unfortunately. Yeah, two drivers seem to be working together ahead, so yeah, did quite good.”
Uncertain future but clear determination
Looking ahead, Pradel expressed openness about his 2026 plans. While his next step remains undecided, he made clear that racing continues to be his passion.
“Let’s see what happens. I mean, yeah, not sure what we’re doing at the moment, but you’ll find out soon enough.”
That uncertainty did little to hide his ambition. With strong form to close the year and three podiums at Monza, Pradel has proven himself capable of fighting at the front in any future programme.
A gesture of gratitude
Away from the cockpit, Pradel demonstrated his appreciation for his team in a typically thoughtful manner. Responding to praise from fans, he explained the story behind a small gift he gave his teammates before the season finale.
“Yeah, I mean, it was just a little memento, which Dad got done at work. And so, yeah, he brought them over from Australia. Just a little memento so that the team always has something for me. So, yeah, just little wooden blocks, a few laser etchings in there. So, just something special. I hope it resonates with them.”
Gianmarco Pradel’s Monza weekend represented the best of both performance and personality. Three podiums highlighted his skill and consistency, while his appreciation for Rodin Motorsport revealed his humility. Despite a slight drop in the championship standings, he ended the season as one of GB3’s most respected and well-liked competitors — both for his results and for the spirit with which he achieved them.
