Ahead of the Miami GP, VCARB, Ferrari and Sauber have announced special one-off liveries that will run this weekend. As the sixth round of racing approaches in 2025, the Formula 1 paddock has already seen several special one-off liveries. Miami — a coastal city famous for its stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife and rich culture — has often inspired teams to run bold, brightly coloured liveries in celebration of the race weekend.

As F1 heads into the second Sprint weekend of the season, we take a closer look at the three teams who have unveiled their liveries for the Miami GP.

VCARB is no stranger to revealing a fun and bold livery. In the past year, the team has ran some fabulous liveries — each beautifully tailored to sponsors and Red Bull’s brand. However, the team will be sporting bright summer pink colours in Miami this weekend.

Inspired by the launch of Red Bull’s new summer edition flavour, VCARB’s livery features subtle eye-catching details some might miss a first glance. The wheel rims designed to replicate the top of a Red Bull can are incorporated seamlessly to the one-off livery. The can of the newly launched Red Bull flavour takes it spot on both the front and rear wing of the car as well. Alongside the special one-off, Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson will sport matching suits to match as well.

CEO of VCARB, Peter Bayer said: “Miami holds a special place for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, it’s where we debuted our very first special livery as a team last year, which was a moment that set the tone for who we are: bold, creative and willing to push the boundaries.”

“Since that debut, we’ve continued to make waves with striking liveries in Singapore and Las Vegas, each one crafted in collaboration with our partners and met with real excitement from fans. The Red Bull Summer Edition livery is a celebration of everything Miami represents, and we are honoured to give wings to this new seasonal flavour.”

For Miami, Ferrari’s one-off livery will pay homage to their collaboration with their title sponsor, HP. Interestingly, their 2025 special sees some striking similarities to the livery the team ran in Miami last year. However, some details have evidently changed. This year the livery sees more of HP’s blue and white featured on the car’s engine covers.

The collaboration in the creation of this livery will mark their first year together and Ferrari’s first special livery of the season. Additionally, sporting a mix of the iconic colours of the Ferrari Red and HP’s white and blue, both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will wear white and blue race suits in celebration of the weekend.

President and CEO of HP Inc., Enrique Lores said: “Our collaboration with Ferrari is a testament to how HP is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Together, we are harnessing technology, performance, and innovation to create and co-engineer exceptional experiences on and off the track. As HP continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions to define the Future of Work, we are setting new standards for collaboration and innovation.”

Sauber have chosen to spice up the look of their car this weekend, whilst sticking to team colours. Inspired by the vibrant art scene of the city, Sauber’s livery draws inspiration from the idea of neon green paint splashed across a blank canvas — represented by the car itself.

To complement the theme and design of the livery, Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will wear matching race suits in line with the theme. However, throughout the weekend Sauber teased fans with details across the team’s garage and pit stop equipment that will feature similar themes throughout the weekend.

Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano Battiston said: “This livery is more than just a new look – it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energising the sport for our fans.”

“Our objective when developing this livery with Stake was to stand out, not only for our dedication on the track, but also for our boldness and creativity off track.”

“Our team is dedicated to creating memorable moments and engaging experiences, and this Miami special is a perfect example of that.”
