Jaguar TCS Racing announced that Juju Noda and Bryce Aron will drive for them in Formula E’s Madrid Rookie Test. The Test will take place after Round 6 of the Formula E World Championship.
The Madrid Rookie Test marks Noda’s second time behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo. Previously, the Japanese rising talent took part in the 2025 Women’s Test in Valencia. Her first experience in Formula E saw her finish the test in ninth place. This time, the rookie can hope to perform even better as she has become more familiar with the machinery.
Speaking about the opportunity, Noda said:
“I’m very grateful to Jaguar TCS Racing for giving me this opportunity – testing the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 in Valencia last year was a fantastic experience, and the support and feedback from the team helped me grow a lot as a driver. To now take part in the official Rookie Test in Madrid is a big moment for me, and I’m excited to learn as much as I can and show what I’m capable of.”
Joining her will be Indy NXT driver Bryan Aron. The American is currently in his third season in Indy NXT and has secured two podium finishes in the series. As the Madrid Rookie Test will be his first experience in Formula E, it is bound to be exciting.
“I’m really looking forward to join Jaguar TCS Racing for the Rookie Test in Madrid. With Formula E being a professional World Championship, I’m excited to have the chance to work with a team performing at such a high level – it’s a huge opportunity for me. I will be looking to learn as much as possible from the engineers and drivers, and making the most of every lap.” Aron said.
Rising stars for Jaguar at the Madrid Rookie Test
The two racers have an exciting path ahead of them as they will immerse themselves in the all-electric series in Madrid. Jaguar Team Principal Ian James spoke highly of the two drivers ahead of the test, stating:
“Over the past few races, the team has shown pace and resilience and turned that into strong results. That means that Madrid – which also marks António’s 150th start in the Championship – has the potential to be a particularly exciting moment in the season. We’re determined to continue building on the foundations we’ve laid.
“We’re also proud to be supporting the next generation of racing talent with both Juju and Bryce, who have already demonstrated exceptional ability and professionalism in their careers. This Rookie Test gives them a valuable opportunity. We’re looking forward to welcoming them to Circuito del Jarama and seeing how they take on this next step.”
The Madrid Rookie Test takes place at Circuito del Jarama on Sunday, 22 March.
