Nina Gademan claimed a dominant victory at the 2026 F1 Academy Chinese GP Race 1, with the full results listed below.
After finishing qualifying in P8, Nina Gademan started from reverse-grid pole position alongside rookie Natalia Granada. At lights out, Gademan got a strong start, charging ahead, while Rafaela Ferreira moved into P3 ahead of Lisa Billard.
Mathilda Paatz and Wild Card entry Wei Shi made contact early on, dropping Paatz down to the back of the grid with issues. Later, on Lap 7, battling for P5, Alba Larsen attempted a move on Emma Felbermayr, misjudging the gap and damaging her front wing. This incident prompted a safety car, which halted Gademan’s dominant lead in the F1 Academy Chinese GP Race 1.
At the Race 1 restart, Gademan got off to a decent start, while in back, Larsen, who was running without a front wing, went off into the gravel in the final corner, dropping her down before she pitted. In a final lap battle for P3, Ferreira lost the position in a switch-back move from Audi-backed Felbermayr.
