Swiss drivers Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler will return to the CBXR by SPS International GT Open for the 2026 season, marking their fifth consecutive campaign in the series.
The popular driver duo will once again compete under the colours of CBRX with support from SPS automotive performance, the team that has partnered them since their debut in the championship.
For the new season, the pair will continue to race the formidable Mercedes-AMG GT3 as they aim to maintain their strong presence in the highly competitive Pro-Am category.
Consistency since their debut
Since joining the International GT Open grid in 2022, Müller and Mettler have established themselves as consistent front-runners in the Pro-Am class. Their partnership has produced numerous competitive performances and strong championship results over the past four seasons.
The Swiss duo has claimed two race victories in the series and accumulated an impressive total of ten podium finishes. These achievements have allowed them to secure two appearances on the final Pro-Am championship podium.
They finished third overall in the class standings in both 2022 and 2023, highlighting their ability to compete consistently against some of the strongest driver pairings in the championship.
Strong Swiss representation
Müller and Mettler proudly represent Switzerland across Europe’s major racing circuits. Müller, aged 37, hails from Zurich, while Mettler, aged 36, comes from Lucerne.
Their partnership has become one of the most recognisable in the GT Open paddock, thanks to their long-term collaboration and their consistent performances season after season.
The continued relationship with SPS automotive performance has also played a key role in their competitiveness.
