Less than a week after a thrilling season opener at Mugello, the 2026 Michelin 24H Series European Series is set for Round 2 at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, on 17-19 April, with organisers Creventic confirming a 44-car entry. Thus, the grid is already shaping up as one of the strongest in recent years, promising an action-packed weekend at the legendary Belgian circuit.
2026 24H Series GT3 class highlights for 12H Spa
The GT3 class will be led by six Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs, including two entries from GetSpeed – the GetSpeed Team PCX Racing car that claimed pole at Mugello and the GetSpeed Team JR286 car. Other Mercedes-AMG entries come from Ajith RedAnt Racing, HOFOR Racing, Viper Niza Racing, and MP Racing.
HAAS RT returns with a double Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II entry, while Continental Racing by Simpson by Motorsport fields an Audi R8 after finishing in the top four overall at Mugello. Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3s are represented by Comtoyou Racing and E2P Racing, with the latter seeking redemption after mechanical issues in round one.
Porsche will feature prominently with Herberth Motorsport, Proton Competition, and other top squads entering 911 GT3 R (992) EVO cars. Ferrari 296 GT3s from Era Motorsport and Pellin Racing, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVOs from ARC Bratislava, and McLaren 720S GT3 EVOs from Optimum Motorsport complete the GT3 entry.
992 and TCE classes
Mühlner Motorsport, victorious in the 992 class at Mugello, will resume its campaign alongside Red Camel-Jordans.nl and QMMF by HRT Performance, with several additional Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars joining them. Championship regulars RPM Racing, SebLajoux Racing, The Driving Experiences, and Chazel Technologie Course will also compete in the 992 class, as well as Escuderia Faraon, MM Racing, and Holmgaard Motorsport.
The TCE-TCX category expands to six cars, featuring asBest Racing’s Mugello-winning SEAT Leon Cup Racer, two Cupra TCR DSGs, Not Only Motorsport’s Ligier JS2 R, J-Mec Engineering’s BMW M3 (E46), and an Audi RS3 LMS DSG from JW Raceservice.
GTX and GT4 entries
GTX will see two Vortex V8 entries, including the 2025 Spa class winner, with Belgian squad Speed Lover entering a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) as a challenger.
In GT4, three cars are confirmed: Team Sorg Rennsport’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, Circuit Toys’ Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, and CWS Engineering’s Ginetta G56 GT4.
2026 12H Spa weekend schedule and broadcast
Creventic Track Day sessions will take place on Wednesday, 15 April, and Thursday, 16 April. Free practice and qualifying follow on Friday, 17 April, with part one of the 12-hour race, a five-and-a-half-hour opening segment, on Saturday, 18 April. The concluding six-and-a-half-hour segment takes place on Sunday, 19 April.
