The 2026 Eurocup-3 pre-season test programme continued with two busy days at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as teams and drivers gathered valuable track time ahead of the upcoming campaign and new era of the series.
Across Tuesday and Wednesday, multiple test sessions delivered a clear indication of a highly competitive field, with several drivers emerging as consistent front-runners.
Powell sets the tone on Tuesday
On Tuesday, Alex Powell established himself as an early benchmark by topping the opening test session. He finished ahead of Gianmarco Pradel and Ean Eyckmans, while Rene Lammers and Filippo Fiorentino completed the top five.
However, the order shifted in the second session, where Patrick Heuzenroeder moved to the top of the timesheets. Christopher Feghali followed closely in second, with Lammers once again showing consistency in third.
Heuzenroeder maintained his momentum into the final session of the day, securing another fastest time. Powell returned to the top group in second, while Feghali completed the top three, underlining the tight competition among the leading drivers.

In the second test, Powell returned to the top, narrowly ahead of Pradel and Gino Trappa. Meanwhile, Heuzenroeder remained competitive in fourth, reinforcing his consistency across both days.
The final session of the test saw Kacper Sztuka rise to the top of the timesheets, marking a strong finish to the two-day programme. Ean Eyckmans secured second place, while Rene Lammers completed the top three.
Notably, the closing session once again featured a mix of drivers at the front, highlighting the depth of talent across the grid.
