Evagoras Papasavvas will compete in the 2026 Formula Regional Americas (FRAC) Championship with Crosslink Motorsports, marking a significant step forward in his open-wheel career. Following success in the INDY NXT by Firestone programme, he now prepares to tackle a full season across North America.

Moreover, the campaign will span eight race weekends at leading circuits, offering Papasavvas a consistent platform to showcase his development. His season will begin this weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park, where the opening round sets the tone for the months ahead.

Papasavvas arrives with valuable experience, having secured a podium finish in INDY NXT competition. Consequently, he brings both racecraft and composure to the FR Americas grid.

In addition, his background in the USF Pro Championships and INDY NXT provides him with a strong technical foundation. This experience should allow him to adapt quickly and compete at a high level from the outset.

Papasavvas expressed enthusiasm about joining the team and embracing the opportunities ahead.

“I am really excited to join Crosslink Motorsports for the 2026 season,” said Papasavvas. “They have a strong program and a clear path up the INDYCAR ladder, which made this the right fit for me. Coming from the USF Pro Championships and INDY NXT, I am looking forward to applying everything I have learned and competing for strong results right from the start at NOLA.”

At the same time, Crosslink Motorsports continues to strengthen its position within the open-wheel development ladder. The team has recently aligned as an official driver development partner for AJ Foyt Racing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

As a result, this collaboration creates a clearer pathway for emerging drivers aiming to reach the top tier of North American open-wheel racing. Therefore, Crosslink now plays an increasingly important role in nurturing talent and guiding progression.

Team owner Gill Kaszuba highlighted both Papasavvas’ ability and the broader vision for the team’s development structure.

“Evagoras is a very talented driver with experience at a high level, and we are excited to welcome him to Crosslink Motorsports,” said Kaszuba. “His background in INDY NXT will be a great asset as we look to be competitive throughout the season. With our relationship with AJ Foyt Racing, we are continuing to build a clear ladder system, and Evagoras fits perfectly into that vision.”

Focus on performance and progression

Overall, Crosslink Motorsports and Papasavvas enter the 2026 season with clear intent. The combination of proven experience and a structured development pathway positions both driver and team for a competitive campaign.

Therefore, as the season begins at NOLA, Papasavvas will aim to convert preparation into performance. If momentum builds early, he could quickly establish himself as a front-running contender in FR Americas.
