Baron Motorsport has confirmed its participation in the 2026 edition of the International GT Open. As a long-standing presence in international GT racing, the Austrian outfit continues its tradition of competing with Ferrari machinery. Led by Philipp Baron, the team will once again field a Ferrari 296 GT3, reinforcing its commitment to the series and the marque.
For the upcoming season, Baron Motorsport will enter the Am class with the experienced father-and-son pairing of Andrzej Lewandowski and Adrian Lewandowski. Well known across GT competitions, the Polish duo brings both experience and continuity to the programme. Moreover, their established partnership could prove vital in a competitive Am category.

At 56, Andrzej Lewandowski arrives with an impressive résumé. Over the years, he has secured multiple titles, including three Am championships in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series. In addition, he claimed a Pro-Am victory at the 2019 World Finals and earned a silver medal in the GT discipline at the FIA Motorsport Games that same year.
Furthermore, his achievements include the Am title in the GT Cup Europe in 2018. Having last competed in the GT Open in 2023, he now returns with renewed ambition and valuable experience.
Meanwhile, Adrian Lewandowski continues to build his reputation in GT racing. Although less experienced than his father, he has consistently developed his skills while sharing driving duties within the family pairing.
Notably, he secured third place in the Am class of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2024, underlining his growing competitiveness. As a result, he enters the 2026 season with increasing confidence and momentum.
With a proven car and a cohesive driver pairing, Baron Motorsport approaches the new season with clear intent. The combination of Andrzej’s experience and Adrian’s upward trajectory creates a balanced line-up capable of delivering consistent performances.
