Luke Hilton has rejoined Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing for the 2026 GB4 Championship, marking a return to a team with which he has already built strong familiarity. The 18-year-old Briton now aims to convert raw speed into more consistent front-running results.
The Essex driver enters his second GB4 campaign after establishing himself as one of the quickest qualifiers in the 2025 field. As a result, he begins the new season with both experience and renewed confidence in a familiar environment.
Strong rookie pace shows front-running potential
Hilton’s 2025 season highlighted clear one-lap speed and growing racecraft. He secured three top-four qualifying results, which consistently placed him near the front of the grid.
During the year, he also produced a breakthrough podium finish at Snetterton in the mid-season round. In addition, he added six further top-eight finishes, which reinforced his ability to compete inside the top group despite his rookie status.
Before stepping into GB4, Hilton developed his racing credentials in Radical sports car competition. He claimed victories and podium finishes in both the Gulf Radical Cup and the Radical Cup UK in 2024, which helped build his competitive foundation.
Hilton has already returned to the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car with Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing during post-season running. Consequently, he now enters 2026 with valuable continuity and a clear understanding of the team environment.
He has expressed optimism about the upcoming season and the potential for strong results:
“I’m looking forward to a fresh start in GB4, and I think the Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing team will be a really exciting combination this season. I loved driving their car, and I could tell instantly that it was going to be somewhere I was going to fit in straight away. I can’t wait to get the new season started, and I’m confident of fighting for wins and podiums.”
Team sets ambitious targets for 2026
Team Principal Gary Ward has also outlined strong expectations for Hilton’s return and believes the driver can convert pace into consistent championship contention.
“We were very keen to get Luke back into the series for 2026, and we’re over the moon to get him on board with us next year. He’s already shown that he’s got amazing speed, and I think we can really polish him up to put him in position to deliver that potential on a more frequent basis. He had a tough 2025, but everything he needs to succeed is there, and I’m very confident he’ll be at the front and a likely championship contender with us.”
Co-owner David Williams also highlighted Hilton’s importance to the team’s wider ambitions across junior formulae.
“Luke is a massively exciting driver and one that I’m looking forward to seeing racing our car next year. We’re determined to make a real impact in both GB3 and GB4 next year, and Luke is the kind of driver who can help us with that objective. I really hope that together we can stand on the top step of the podium several times in 2026.”
A key season for conversion of speed into results
Hilton now returns to GB4 with clear targets and a strengthened team partnership behind him. With proven qualifying pace, prior podium experience, and continuity in machinery, he enters 2026 in a strong position to fight at the front.
If he builds consistency across race distance, he could quickly emerge as a regular podium contender in the upcoming GB4 Championship.
