Fox Motorsport has confirmed Archie Bullard as the final piece of its 2026 GB4 Championship line-up. The 19-year-old from Surrey will make his single-seater debut, marking a significant step up after an outstanding karting career.
Moreover, Bullard joins an already competitive squad alongside Jasser Iskander and Enzo Rujugiro, as the Maldon-based team prepares for the upcoming season.
Late start, rapid rise in karting before transition to cars
Interestingly, Bullard only began karting in 2023 at the age of 16. Nevertheless, he quickly established himself as a dominant force across single-circuit and regional championships. As a result, he amassed over 200 race wins and more than 300 podium finishes in just three seasons. In addition, he secured 14 championship titles, including a clean sweep of the Daytona D-Max series in 2024.
Notably, Bullard is also the son of former Premier League footballer Jimmy Bullard, adding further sporting pedigree to his background.
Following his karting success, Bullard began testing in both Fiesta Junior and Formula 4 machinery. Consequently, he gained valuable early experience in car racing before making his next move.
In March, he tested Fox Motorsport’s Tatuus GB4 car at Snetterton, an opportunity that ultimately led to his signing. Therefore, his progression into GB4 reflects both his rapid development and growing confidence behind the wheel.
Bullard has expressed his excitement at making the leap into single-seaters and joining a professional racing environment.
“Joining Fox Motorsport to race in the GB4 Championship is a dream come true. The experience of testing with a proper single-seater team like Fox has been out of this world with the level of detail and preparation they go into over every last thing, and that’s helped me make improvements in my driving much more easily than I’d have expected. I still have so much to learn – I haven’t even driven on all the circuits I’ll be racing at – and I’ll be taking everything one step at a time, but I’m thrilled to have this opportunity and will be sure to make the most of it.”
Team backing and high expectations
At the same time, Fox Motorsport has highlighted Bullard’s character and potential as key strengths. Team Principal Paul McNeilly believes the young driver has already integrated well within the team environment.
“We’re delighted to sign Archie to complete our GB4 Championship line-up. His attitude and maturity are first-rate, and he’s settled in seamlessly with the mechanics, coaches and his teammates Enzo and Jasser. He has bags of potential, and it will be up to us to work with him to help him realise that as he builds his experience across his rookie season. We can’t wait for Silverstone in a month’s time.”
Ultimately, Bullard enters the 2026 GB4 Championship as one of the most intriguing rookies on the grid. Although he still faces a steep learning curve, his exceptional karting record and early testing experience provide a strong platform.
As the season approaches, both Bullard and Fox Motorsport will aim to convert raw potential into consistent results, beginning with the opening rounds at Silverstone.
