The F4 Indian Championship has announced a revised six-round calendar for its 2026 season.
The campaign will begin on 15–16 August before concluding with a three-day finale from 27–29 November. The schedule also includes rounds in September, October and early November.
However, organisers have not yet confirmed the venue for any of the six meetings.
F4 India schedules August season opener
The 2026 F4 Indian Championship will begin with its opening round on 15–16 August.
The series will then take a four-week break before returning for two consecutive September meetings. Round 2 will take place on 12–13 September, with Round 3 following one week later on 19–20 September.
After the September double-header, the championship will pause for more than a month. Round 4 will start the second part of the campaign on 24–25 October.
Teams and drivers will face another back-to-back sequence when Round 5 follows on 31 October–1 November. The championship will then conclude four weeks later with Round 6 from 27–29 November.

The final round currently represents the only meeting with a three-day date window. The other five rounds span Saturday and Sunday.
Revised calendar creates two back-to-back sequences
The schedule divides the season into three distinct phases.
The August opener will stand alone before the championship moves into consecutive September weekends. The five-week gap between Rounds 3 and 4 will then separate the first and second halves of the campaign.
Rounds 4 and 5 will form the calendar’s second back-to-back sequence across late October and early November. Finally, the November finale will give teams one last break before the championship-deciding event.
This structure will place particular importance on the two consecutive-weekend stretches. Drivers who lose ground during the opening event of either double-header will receive little time to reset before returning to competition.
Organisers yet to name six host venues
F4 India has confirmed the dates but has not revealed where the six rounds will take place.
The official calendar currently lists every venue as awaiting announcement. Therefore, organisers have not confirmed whether the championship will return to established permanent circuits, include street races or introduce new locations during the 2026 campaign.
The venue announcements will also clarify the logistical demands facing the teams. Consecutive events at the same circuit would create a different challenge from back-to-back rounds in separate regions.
Similarly, the combination of permanent and street circuits could significantly influence the championship. Street venues typically limit practice opportunities and punish mistakes, while established tracks often give experienced drivers a stronger starting point.
Gen2 machinery continues in F4 India
The championship will continue to provide an FIA-backed entry point into international single-seater racing.
F4 India uses the second-generation Mygale M21-F4 chassis, which features an FIA-homologated carbon-fibre monocoque and Halo cockpit protection. Alpine engines prepared by Oreca power the cars.
The category aims to help young drivers progress from karting into car racing while building the technical, physical and racecraft skills required for higher levels of the single-seater ladder.
The championship’s mix of Indian and international competitors also gives developing drivers an opportunity to gain experience against rivals from different racing backgrounds.
F4 India prepares for six-round title fight
The revised schedule establishes a compact campaign across slightly more than three months.
The season will begin in mid-August before moving through two September rounds, two meetings across October and November, and the late-November finale.
However, the championship must still confirm the circuits that will host each event. Those announcements will provide a clearer picture of the technical and logistical challenges facing the 2026 field.
For now, teams and drivers can prepare around six confirmed race weekends as the F4 Indian Championship builds towards its August season opener.
