Saudi Arabian driver Faris Organji will make his GB4 Championship debut with Scorpio Motorsport at Silverstone on 1–2 August.
The 17-year-old will enter UK motorsport for the first time after beginning his single-seater career in the 2025 Saudi Arabian F4 Championship. He will join Archie Davies and Romuald Bocquet as Scorpio Motorsport expands to its planned three-car line-up.
Organji has already completed private testing at Donington Park and Pembrey in the Tatuus MSV GB4-025. Further running at Snetterton and the official Silverstone pre-event test will help him prepare for his first competitive weekend in the category.
Organji targets points on GB4 debut
Organji faces a significant challenge as he joins the championship midway through the season.
His rivals have already completed several race weekends in the current GB4 car, while Organji has spent an extended period away from competition since his Saudi Arabian F4 campaign.
Nevertheless, the Saudi Arabian driver has set a clear and measured target for his opening round. He hopes to establish himself in the midfield and challenge for points rather than placing unrealistic expectations on his first appearance.
“I’m very excited to join the GB4 Championship with Scorpio Motorsport and I can’t wait to be on track at Silverstone. I’ve been out of a car for quite a while after doing Saudi Arabian F4 last year, and the drivers on the grid have a lot more experience than me in the car, but hopefully I can score some points. That’s the main goal, to be in the midfield and fighting for points.”
Silverstone will provide a demanding introduction. Its high-speed layout will require Organji to build confidence quickly while learning the championship’s racing standards and tyre behaviour.
However, his recent testing programme should give him a stronger foundation before the weekend begins.
Saudi Arabian F4 provides first single-seater experience
Organji made his car-racing debut during the 2025 Saudi Arabian F4 Championship.
Despite entering the series with limited experience, he finished third in the Rookies’ Championship. He recorded nine top-six rookie finishes, including two class podiums, across the 10-race campaign.
Organji also secured two outright top-10 results while competing against more experienced drivers.
Furthermore, he demonstrated consistency by reaching the chequered flag in nine of the season’s 10 races. That reliability gave him valuable experience in managing race starts, close competition and changing track conditions.
His GB4 move now represents the next stage of his development as he enters a more established European racing environment.
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix inspires motorsport journey
Organji developed his interest in motorsport after attending the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021.
He began karting shortly afterwards and competed in regional events across Saudi Arabia and Dubai. His early career also took him to Greece and included appearances in the Sodi W Series.
Those experiences helped him build the skills required to progress into Formula 4.
Now, Organji will move beyond the Middle East and begin gaining experience within the UK single-seater system. GB4 provides a recognised development route for young drivers and uses machinery designed to help competitors build the technical understanding required for higher categories.
Testing programme prepares Organji for Silverstone
Scorpio Motorsport has worked to accelerate Organji’s adaptation to the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 before his debut.
The Saudi Arabian driver has completed tests at Donington Park and Pembrey, giving him experience at circuits with contrasting characteristics.
Donington allowed Organji to learn the car through a mixture of fast corners, braking zones and elevation changes. Meanwhile, Pembrey provided further mileage away from a competitive race weekend.
He will continue his preparation at Snetterton before joining the official pre-event test at Silverstone.
That programme should help him understand the car’s braking performance, aerodynamic grip and tyre behaviour before he faces the established GB4 field.
Scorpio Motorsport completes three-car line-up
Organji’s arrival expands Scorpio Motorsport to three entries for the Silverstone round.
He will join Davies and Bocquet as the team reaches the capacity it originally targeted before the season began.
Team Principal Louis Kershaw acknowledged the difficulty of entering GB4 midway through a campaign. However, Organji’s performances during testing have encouraged the team ahead of his debut.
“We are excited to welcome Faris into the team and also to be fielding three cars as was always the plan at the beginning of the year. Coming into the championship mid season is a big challenge but Faris has taken it all in his stride and impressed us during testing sessions in preparation for Silverstone. I know myself and the rest of the team look forward to contributing to his development as a driver, hopefully the hard work from both team and driver pay off and he can return home to Saudi Arabia with some results to be proud of.”
Running three cars will also give Scorpio Motorsport more data throughout the weekend. The team can compare Organji’s feedback with information from Davies and Bocquet as it refines its set-ups.
At the same time, Organji can draw on his teammates’ experience of the car and championship.
Silverstone begins Organji’s UK racing chapter
Organji will approach his debut with limited expectations but a clear focus on development.
The Silverstone test will provide his final opportunity to prepare before the competitive sessions begin. From there, he must adapt to the field, complete clean races and take advantage of any opportunities to move into the points.
A midfield result would provide an encouraging start as he returns to competition and begins building experience outside the Middle East.
More importantly, the weekend will give Organji his first opportunity to measure his progress against an established UK grid as he takes the next step in his single-seater career.
