Alex Dunne topped the F2 Free Practice session at the 2026 Italian GP. Read the full results below.
Formula 2 returned from the summer break at Monza, with Free Practice opening Round 10 of the 2026 season.
Noel León set the first benchmark for Campos Racing with a 1:32.715, before Dunne moved to the top for Rodin Motorsport. The Irishman improved again to a 1:31.957, finishing 0.170s clear of Oliver Goethe.
The session ended early after Colton Herta went through the gravel at the second Lesmo and hit the barrier. Race Control brought out the red flag, and barrier damage prevented the session from resuming.
Nico Varrone completed the top three, ahead of championship leader Nikola Tsolov and Roman Bilinski.
