Kiwi Motorsport enjoyed a strong weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, collecting a victory and several podium finishes across F4 U.S. and FRAC before turning its attention towards the penultimate round of the 2026 season.
Zach Fourie delivered the team’s biggest result with victory in the opening F4 U.S. race before returning to the podium in Race 3. Meanwhile, Cooper Shipman produced two strong FRAC finishes, taking third in Race 1 and second in Race 2 before an incident forced him to retire from the final race.
The team also ended the F4 U.S. weekend with all four of its drivers inside the top six, giving Kiwi Motorsport further momentum before the championship moves to VIRginia International Raceway.
Shipman opens FRAC weekend with back-to-back podiums
Shipman started Kiwi Motorsport’s FRAC weekend strongly with third place in Race 1. Teammate Harbir Dass followed him home in fourth, giving the team two cars inside the leading group from the outset.
Shipman then improved by one position in Race 2 to take second and secure his second podium of the weekend. Dass finished eighth as Kiwi Motorsport continued to add solid results across the opening two races.
However, the final FRAC race produced a more difficult conclusion for Shipman. An on-track incident forced him to retire early, ending an otherwise productive weekend for the championship contender. Dass reached the finish in seventh to complete his CTMP programme.
Despite the final-race setback, Shipman left Canada with two podium finishes from the three races and another strong haul of results during the closing stages of the season.
Fourie delivers F4 U.S. victory for Kiwi Motorsport
Kiwi Motorsport’s F4 U.S. weekend began with victory as Fourie took the top step in Race 1. Clemente Huerta added fourth place, while Caleb Campbell finished sixth to put three of the team’s drivers inside the top six.
Ayden Kohut endured a more difficult opening race after an on-track incident brought his run to an early conclusion. However, he responded strongly in Race 2 and led Kiwi Motorsport’s charge with fourth place, while Huerta followed in sixth.
Fourie and Campbell both finished a lap down in the second race, but the team recovered strongly in the final contest of the weekend.
Fourie returned to the podium with third place in Race 3, while Campbell crossed the line fourth. Huerta finished fifth and Kohut completed the top six, giving Kiwi Motorsport four cars inside the top six at the chequered flag.
Larsen praises team after strong CTMP results
Kiwi Motorsport Team Owner Teena Larsen highlighted both the pace and determination shown by the team across the FRAC and F4 U.S. programmes.
“It was another weekend where our drivers showed a lot of speed and determination, and I am really proud of the entire team,” said Kiwi Motorsport Team Owner Teena Larsen. “Zach getting the win in Race 1 and coming back for another podium in Race 3 was a great way to cap off the F4 weekend, and having Caleb, Clemente, and Ayden all finish inside the top six in the final race was a strong result for the team. Cooper also had two great podiums in FR before, unfortunately, getting caught up in an incident in the final race. There are a lot of positives to take from Canadian Tire, and now we turn our attention to VIR and the final stretch of the season.”
Although Shipman’s final FRAC race ended prematurely, Kiwi Motorsport still left CTMP with a victory, multiple podiums and several strong finishes across both categories.
Kiwi Motorsport turns attention towards VIR
With the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park weekend complete, Kiwi Motorsport will now focus on VIRginia International Raceway, which hosts the penultimate event of the 2026 season later this month.
The team will also welcome back Ligier Junior Formula Championship teammate Jack Speth as the season moves towards its conclusion.
After Fourie’s F4 U.S. victory, Shipman’s two FRAC podiums and a four-car top-six finish in the final F4 U.S. race, Kiwi Motorsport heads to VIR aiming to maintain that momentum through the final stretch of the campaign.
