Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough has claimed his third consecutive Omologato One to Watch Award after continuing his remarkable 2026 second-half form with another GB3 double victory at Brands Hatch.
The British driver collected the maximum 70 points available across the first two races of the penultimate 2026 GB3 round. Fairclough converted both pole positions into victories, winning Race 1 by more than 14 seconds before completing the double with a 7.432s advantage in Race 2.
His Brands Hatch success follows previous Omologato honours at Silverstone and Donington Park, giving Fairclough a perfect 70-point score towards the award at each of the past three events. He has consequently become the first driver this season to claim three consecutive awards since championship leader Nikita Bedrin dominated the opening four rounds.
Fairclough completes third consecutive perfect score
Fairclough’s latest award came from one of his most dominant weekends of the season. After topping Friday running on the Indy circuit, the Hitech driver carried that pace onto the Grand Prix layout and secured both pole positions during Saturday’s Qualifying.
He then controlled Race 1 from the front, building an advantage of more than 14 seconds on his way to victory. Fairclough followed that performance with another commanding display in Race 2, overcoming an early Safety Car period to finish 7.432s ahead of Xcel Motorsport’s Rowan Campbell-Pilling.
The two victories earned him the full 70 points available for the Omologato One to Watch Award, which recognises the highest-scoring driver across the opening two races of each GB3 weekend. Fairclough consequently added another Omologato timepiece to the prizes already earned during his recent run of form.
His latest success also extends a streak that began at the second Silverstone round. Fairclough ended Bedrin’s four-event run of Omologato victories by winning both conventional-grid races there before repeating the achievement at Donington Park.
Three successive doubles transform Fairclough’s season
Fairclough’s Omologato streak reflects the wider transformation of his championship campaign. He secured his first victory of the year at the Hungaroring before producing three consecutive double-winning weekends across Silverstone, Donington Park and Brands Hatch.
His Donington performances included victories in both conventional-grid races, with Fairclough defeating Bedrin by only 0.317s in Race 1 before completing the double in Race 2. He also climbed from 12th to fifth in the reverse-grid finale to complete an 88-point weekend.
Brands Hatch brought another 88 points as Fairclough again won the opening two races before recovering to fifth in Race 3. Those results have helped the Hitech driver score 254 points across the past three rounds after sitting 10th on only 102 following the Red Bull Ring.
Fairclough has consequently climbed to second in the Drivers’ Championship after Round 7, with 356 points. Bedrin remains firmly ahead on 445, while Lucas Fluxá sits only one point behind Fairclough and Martin Molnar remains another four further back.
Bedrin and Fairclough split 2026 awards
Only Bedrin and Fairclough have won the Omologato One to Watch Award during the 2026 season.
Bedrin began the year by taking the prize at the opening Silverstone round with the maximum 70 points. The VRD Racing driver followed that success at Spa-Francorchamps and the Hungaroring with 64 points at each event before returning to a perfect 70 at the Red Bull Ring.
Fairclough then broke Bedrin’s streak when GB3 returned to Silverstone. He has remained unbeaten in the award since, scoring 70 points at Silverstone, Donington Park and Brands Hatch to claim three successive Omologato watches. (gb-3.net)

Fairclough’s three consecutive awards underline the dramatic improvement that has characterised the second half of his season. Bedrin controlled the prize through the opening four rounds, but Fairclough has responded with three perfect scores of his own and will now have the opportunity to extend that streak when GB3 concludes its 2026 campaign at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
