Before the start of Sunday’s contest, it was confirmed that Alexia Danielsson would not start as she picked up a wrist injury as the Wild Card hit Jade Jacquet’s car. The French driver had been spun by Rafaela Ferreira and was out after taking the lead on the first lap a few corners earlier in the reverse grid contest.

On Saturday, Alba Larsen secured her first win in the category as the Dane came through from P4.

However, the big story was Alisha Palmowski as the Brit won the 2026 F1 Academy championship; she charged through from 8th to 2nd, setting fastest lap as well. The Red Bull backed driver was hoping to make it two wins on the weekend from pole position.

Lisa Billard also made history as the young French driver bagged her first podium with a P3.

Behind the champion, Westcott, Gademan, Granada, Larsen, Billard, Jacquet, Ferreira, Felbermayr and Robertson completed the top 10 on the grid.

The big championship battle coming into the race was for 2nd. Gademan, six spots ahead of Felbermayr on the grid, was 10 points behind the Austrian but had the chance to either close in or get into 2nd in points.

Following multiple battles, Larsen and Palmowski came to blows at the exit of Turn 12. The Dane had sent a divebomb into the entry but the Brit got the switchback. However, the Ferrari backed driver drifted across towards the Red Bull one, as the right rear and left front of their cars came together, ending both their races with damage.
