Friday at Zandvoort began with fireworks as Reza Seewooruthun smashed the official GB3 lap record in the opening practice session. The Argenti with Prema driver, making just his second GB3 appearance, stunned the field by lapping almost four tenths quicker than the previous benchmark. His performance set the tone for an ultra-competitive day, with margins between the front-runners measured in hundredths.
Free Practice 1: Seewooruthun on Top

Seewooruthun finished the first session ahead of Alex Ninovic of Rodin Motorsport and Patrick Heuzenroeder of Xcel Motorsport, with the top three continuing the battle they had started in Thursday’s extended test. Nikita Johnson ensured Hitech TGR was again in the mix, slotting in just ahead of Will Macintyre for Elite Motorsport.
The midfield proved particularly tight, with just thousandths separating Xcel’s Jack Sherwood and Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough. Keanu Al Azhari placed eighth for Hitech, followed by Gianmarco Pradel for Rodin and Yuanpu Cui for Argenti.
