British racing driver and FOX Sports commentator Jack Harvey will return to the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 in 2026, driving the No. 24 INVST Chevrolet with Dreyer & Reinbold confirming the British driver for a second consecutive campaign at the Brickyard.

Harvey debuted with DRR at the 2025 Indy 500, where he consistently remained in the top 10 before a late race penalty pushed him to 19th place.

“My experience with DRR and INVST last year at the Indy 500 was brilliant,” Harvey said. “With the continuity of returning to the team, I’m even more confident that we can compete for the win in the 2026 event.”

DRR banking on continuity

Despite the final result, Harvey’s strong showing in May impressed both DRR and sponsor INVST enough to secure an early deal for 2026.

Team co-owner Dennis Reinbold praised Harvey’s composure and professionalism:

“Jack did an outstanding job at Indy last year, and we’re confident that with the experience gained, we can elevate our performance in 2026. The continuity with Jack and INVST gives us a strong platform to build from.”

A key opportunity

The return to the Indy 500 marks another important step in the Brit’s comeback after a challenging run in the full-time IndyCar series in recent seasons. Once a regular presence on the grid, Harvey’s full-time opportunities faded, but a standout month of May with DRR in 2025 proved that the talent is still very much intact.

In addition to his racing efforts, he has become a well-regarded voice in the paddock, contributing to FOX Sports’ IndyCar coverage as a pit reporter and analyst.

Can Harvey contend?

Harvey’s performance in 2025 suggested there is potential for a breakout result in 2026. The No. 24 entry was competitive throughout practice and qualifying and demonstrated solid race pace until the penalty setback.

With another year of experience together, DRR and Harvey will aim higher, and a top-10 finish, or even an outside shot at a podium.

However, with powerhouse teams like Penske, Ganassi, and Arrow McLaren continuing to dominate the top end of the Indy 500 grid, DRR will need to deliver a near-perfect Month of May to challenge at the front.
