Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic strengthened his grip on the 2025 GB3 Championship by winning Race 1 at Donington Park. He delivered his seventh victory of the season and extended his advantage at the top of the standings to 85 points.
Ninovic delivers commanding victory
Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic delivered a commanding drive to secure his seventh victory of the 2025 GB3 Championship season in race one at Donington Park. Starting from pole, Ninovic launched strongly and built a 2.7 second advantage over Argenti with Prema’s Reza Seewooruthun within two laps. The lead vanished under the first safety car, but Ninovic controlled the restart on lap five with authority. He pulled away once more and stretched his margin to five seconds before another safety car halted his progress when Keanu Al Azhari spun out at the Old Hairpin. Officials cleared the incident under caution, and with time expired the field crossed the line under control, leaving Ninovic to take a measured win.
Seewooruthun claimed second to continue his strong weekend form, finishing just 0.639s behind Ninovic. Behind them, JHR Developments driver Noah Lisle fought off sustained pressure from Deagen Fairclough to secure the final podium spot. Patrick Heuzenroeder took fourth for Xcel Motorsport but lost further ground in the title chase, while Lucas Fluxa impressed with a storming drive from 12th to fifth on his debut for Hillspeed. Fairclough had to settle for sixth after a mid-race mistake, and Rodin pair Abbi Pulling and Gianmarco Pradel surged through the order from 17th and 20th respectively to finish seventh and eighth. Enzo Tarnvanichkul and Max Taylor completed the top ten, while further back, consistent battles filled out the midfield as drivers sought crucial points.
Championship picture
Ninovic’s latest victory extends his advantage in the GB3 Championship standings to 85 points. If he increases that margin to 102 or more by the conclusion of the Donington Park weekend, he will clinch the title with one full round still to run, underlining his dominance across the 2025 season.
