Newly crowned GB3 champion Alex Ninovic has secured his third Omologato One to Watch Award of the 2025 season following another flawless performance at Donington Park. The Rodin Motorsport driver earned the accolade after achieving a perfect score across the opening two races of the weekend, mirroring his dominant displays earlier in the year.

The Australian continued his exceptional run of form by winning both races at Donington for the second consecutive event, confirming his championship title a full round early on Sunday afternoon. His latest triumph adds to an already remarkable campaign, marking him out once again as the standout performer of the series.

Donington represented the third time in 2025 that the Omologato One to Watch Award has been claimed with a maximum score, following similar achievements by Freddie Slater at Silverstone and Ninovic himself at Brands Hatch earlier in the season.

Introduced in 2024, the Omologato One to Watch Award celebrates the top-scoring driver across the first two races of each GB3 event. It has quickly become a prestigious recognition within the championship, highlighting consistency, pace, and composure across the weekend.

In addition to Ninovic’s three awards, several other drivers have also claimed the honour this season. Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater opened the year in style with a 70-point haul at Silverstone. Patrick Heuzenroeder took the accolade at Zandvoort, while Gianmarco Pradel and Keanu Al Azhari collected theirs at Hungaroring and the second Silverstone round respectively.

The 2025 season continues the tradition established last year, when John Bennett, Tymek Kucharczyk, and eventual champion Louis Sharp each earned the award during its debut campaign.
