Nina Gademan will be making her return to the F1 Academy grid in 2026, representing Alpine once again for her second campaign in the all-female series. The Dutch driver will be joining MP Motorsport for the campaign ahead.
Strong rookie season
Gademan first made her debut in F1 Academy as the Wild Card entry for Round 4 of the 2024 season in Zandvoort. It was an impressive performance upon debut on home soil for the Dutch driver. She placed an outstanding 4th in Race 1 and 10th in Race 2.
The 2025 F1 Academy season marked Gademan’s first full season in the series. The 22-year-old had a strong rookie campaign and finished 6th in the Drivers’ Standings. Gademan secured a total of four podium placements, including an emotional maiden victory during her home weekend in Zandvoort.
Confidence in the team
Following a successful debut season in the series at PREMA, Nina Gademan is looking forward to her second season in F1 Academy with MP Motorsport. The Dutch woman shared that she has full confidence in the team. Gademan is also looking forward to placing herself in the fight for the 2026 F1 Academy Drivers’ Championship title.
“I’m really happy to be part of the MP Motorsport family for next year. They have been strong performers in F1 ACADEMY from the start, and it’s always an advantage to race with your home team.”
Now with one season of experience under her belt, Gademan has set higher expectations for herself in 2026. She will be looking to bring her experiences and learning into the new season. The Dutch woman also aims to add more wins to the tally in the new season. She is looking to fully maximise her last chance in F1 Academy.
“With the experience and circuit knowledge that I gained this year, I feel that I am ready to challenge for more wins and the title in 2026. The team and I aim to use the winter ahead to fully prepare ourselves for the season kick-off at Shanghai in March, when I hope you will see me fighting right at the front.”
