GriffinCore Campos Racing has strengthened its driver line-up for the 2026 Eurocup-3 season by confirming the signing of Patrick Heuzenroeder. The Australian driver becomes the second major addition announced by the team ahead of the new campaign, following the recent confirmation of Thomas Strauven. Together, these signings reflect Campos Racing’s clear intention to fight for victories and titles as it prepares for a demanding and highly competitive season.

From Australia to Europe: a steadily rising career

Heuzenroeder has followed a pathway familiar to many successful Australian drivers by relocating to Europe to accelerate his single-seater career. After moving to the United Kingdom in 2023, he entered British Formula 4, where he began adapting to European circuits, racing formats and competition levels. He continued his progression by stepping up to the GB3 Championship in 2024, gaining experience in more powerful machinery and longer race weekends.

His results over the past two seasons have confirmed his rapid development. In 2025, Heuzenroeder emerged as one of the strongest drivers in GB3, securing the Vice Champion title thanks to a consistent campaign that included one race victory and five podium finishes. Earlier in the year, he also impressed in Formula Regional Oceania, finishing fourth overall with one win and three third-place results. Throughout his career, he has benefited from the guidance of former Formula 1 driver and Le Mans winner David Brabham, who continues to mentor him.

A new challenge with the Dallara 326-Toyota

The move to Eurocup-3 in 2026 represents a significant step forward for Heuzenroeder, as he prepares to compete in a full European championship with the latest-generation Dallara 326-Toyota. The series offers increased performance, closer competition and a calendar that mirrors the demands of higher FIA single-seater categories, making it an important proving ground for ambitious young drivers.

The season will begin at Le Castellet on 2–3 May, before visiting the Algarve on 6–7 June. Two Italian rounds will follow, with Imola hosting the championship on 4–5 July and Monza on 1–2 August. A fifth round, scheduled for 8–9 August, has yet to be confirmed. After the summer break, the series will resume at Silverstone on 12–13 September, continue at the Hungaroring on 24–25 October, and conclude with its traditional finale in Barcelona on 7–8 November.

Campos Racing highlights experience and adaptability

As Team Principal, Adrián Campos underlined both Heuzenroeder’s existing experience and his potential to adapt quickly to a new environment and car. Thus, Campos Racing expects the Australian to integrate smoothly into the team and contribute strongly from the opening rounds of the season.

“I would like to welcome Patrick to GriffinCore Campos Racing. We will do everything we can to help him adapt to the team so that he can deliver his very best from the outset. He already has experience and success in several types of single-seaters and, although the Dallara 326-Toyota will be another new car for him, I am confident that his previous seasons provide him with a very interesting and valuable foundation for Eurocup-3.”

Clear ambition from Heuzenroeder ahead of 2026 with GriffinCore Campos Racing in Eurocup-3

Heuzenroeder arrives at Campos Racing off the back of what he describes as a breakthrough year, and he sees the move as a natural progression towards higher-level championships. He also highlighted the team’s recent successes and the importance of Eurocup-3 as a stepping stone towards FIA Formula 3, while making his personal objectives unmistakably clear.

“2025 was a break-through season for me and it was rewarding to see the interest the top teams had in me for the coming year. Accepting the offer of a seat in GriffinCore Campos Racing was an easy decision. The Team’s performance has always been impressive, and their Teams’ Championship win in FIA Formula 3 just proved what they can do. The opportunity to develop and race the Dallara 326-Toyota is something I’m really looking forward to, and the Eurocup-3 Championship is proving itself as the series to race in if you want to prepare for FIA Formula 3. I’m raring to go and my goal is the Championship win for GriffinCore Campos Racing.”

With a proven record of progression, strong backing, and a clear focus on results, Heuzenroeder’s arrival further underlines GriffinCore Campos Racing’s determination to mount a serious title challenge in the 2026 Eurocup-3 season.
