The 2025 F3 Spanish GP Sprint Race was chaotic from the outset, with multiple championship contenders crashing out on the opening lap. After the top 12 from qualifying were reversed, Bilinski started on pole but was taken out alongside Stenshorne and Tramnitz in a first-lap incident. Taponen was also forced to retire after a collision with Câmara, who later pulled into the pits and retired as well. With all four frontrunners—Câmara, Tramnitz, Stenshorne, and Taponen—out of the race, the championship standings opened up dramatically.

The restart on lap 5 saw Domingues retain the lead ahead of Strømsted and Van Hoepen, while Giusti and Tsolov made strong charges through the field. Tsolov climbed to third by the end, earning 8 points and jumping from 61 to 69, moving him closer to the top of the standings. Ramos finished second, taking 9 points and rising from 35 to 44. Boya gained 4 points for seventh place, pushing his tally from 32 to 36. Giusti added 5 to move from 25 to 30, while Naël’s 6-point haul saw him rise from 19 to 25. Van Hoepen’s fourth-place finish added 7 points to his total, bringing him from 17 to 24. Inthraphuvasak moved from 13 to 15 with a ninth-place finish, and León added 1 point, increasing his total to 4. Wharton, previously on zero, scored his first 3 points of the season.

The race ended under yellow flags after Garfias lost a wheel near Turn 13, with Domingues securing his first F3 win and Van Amersfoort Racing locking out the top two steps on the podium. With both Câmara and Tramnitz scoring no points, their championship leads are under serious threat heading into the Feature Race.
