Excel London as special track layout for the 2025 Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix

With being the only race on the calendar that’s partly inside, the 2025 Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix, is set for excitement. In the past, the Excel London Circuit caused challenges for the teams and drivers with its special layout. With 20-turns, the 2.08km long track begins inside on a high-grip surface. Transitioning on to a strip of slippery metal, followed by asphalt on the outside.

Before the drivers return to the inside of the Excel London Circuit, chicanes, ideal for overtaking and exciting turns, are the challenge ahead. With this constant change of the track surface, the 2025 Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix is unpredictable. Should it rain like in past year’s a complexity is added. Which could cause even more noticeable changes of the conditions. ATTACK MODE adds another challenge point. Located on the outside of Turn 16, the drivers need to use their ATTACK MODE right before the finish line.

Farewell to NEOM McLaren at their home race

NEOM McLaren is set for an emotional farewell at the upcoming 2025 Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix, their final appearance in the Formula E championship. The team, which took over from Mercedes at the start of the Gen3 era, has built an impressive record with eight podiums and a race win. This season, rookie Taylor Barnard emerged as a standout performer, securing five podiums and two pole positions. Sam Bird also made history last year with a daring overtake that sealed McLaren’s first victory in the series. Both drivers will push for one last triumph in front of the home crowd.

To mark the occasion, the team will swap their iconic papaya livery for a special one-off blue “away kit,” created in partnership with Oxagon, NEOM’s reimagined industrial city. The design will also feature on their race suits. Giving the Woking-based outfit a striking final look. While the future of both drivers remains unconfirmed, their full focus is on ending McLaren’s Formula E chapter on a high.
