Keanu Al Azhari converted pole position into victory in the opening 2026 Eurocup-3 race at Silverstone, leading René Lammers and championship leader James Egozi to the chequered flag.

Al Azhari got away cleanly from pole as the field charged into Copse for the first time, with Lammers making the strongest start from the second row.

The MP Motorsport driver moved into second and immediately settled behind Al Azhari, while Ean Eyckmans lost ground from the front row.

Egozi also made progress from fourth, moving into the fight for the podium places as the opening lap unfolded.

The order at the front was soon interrupted by the Safety Car after Stylianos Kolovos stopped on the pit straight.

The neutralisation gave the field a chance to close back up behind Al Azhari, but the Hitech GP driver made the most of the restart.

Al Azhari leads the field away

As racing resumed, Al Azhari began to pull away from Lammers, setting a series of quick laps as he established control at the front.

Lammers remained in second, while Egozi held third and began to settle into the final podium position.

Behind the leading trio, Gianmarco Pradel was working his way through the field after starting eighth.

The MP Motorsport driver steadily climbed the order before eventually reaching fourth, putting himself just outside the podium fight.

Eyckmans, meanwhile, slipped back to fifth after starting alongside Al Azhari on the front row.

Further down the field, Heitor Dall’Agnol and Kacper Sztuka fought over the next positions, with Santino Panetta and Enzo Tarnvanichkul also remaining inside the top ten.

As the race entered its closing stages, Al Azhari had built enough of a gap to remove any immediate threat from behind.

The Hitech driver continued to manage the pace through the final laps, with Lammers unable to bring the gap back down.

There was late drama further behind when Patrick Heuzenroeder suffered a rear-left tyre failure at Stowe on the final lap, bringing an early end to what had been a strong run for the Campos driver.

At the front, however, Al Azhari remained untroubled.

He crossed the line to take his second Eurocup-3 victory of the season, winning by 6.532 seconds over Lammers.

Egozi completed the podium, while Pradel finished fourth after his recovery drive from eighth.

Eyckmans took fifth, followed by Dall’Agnol, Sztuka, Panetta, Tarnvanichkul and Trappa.
