The 2026 F1 Academy standings tightened after the Reverse Grid Race at the 2026 British GP weekend, as Emma Felbermayr claimed victory at Silverstone and reduced Alisha Palmowski’s advantage at the top of the Drivers’ Championship.

Felbermayr converted pole into a lights-to-flag win, taking her second victory of the 2026 season. Nina Gademan finished second, while Ella Lloyd completed the podium. Palmowski finished fifth, adding four points to her total and keeping control of the championship lead.

With victory, Felbermayr now sits on 63 points, 19 behind Palmowski. Gademan climbs to third on 38 points, moving ahead of Megan Bruce, while Rodin Motorsport rises to second in the Teams’ Championship after a strong double podium.

Felbermayr entered the Silverstone Reverse Grid Race second in the Drivers’ Championship, 25 points behind Palmowski. However, her victory has reduced that gap to 19 points.

Starting from pole after the top eight from Qualifying were reversed, the Audi-backed driver made a clean launch and led the field into Turn 1. From there, she controlled the race and built a gap of over a second to Gademan before taking the chequered flag.

The result moves Felbermayr to 63 points. Although Palmowski remains in command at the top, Felbermayr’s second win of the season keeps her firmly in the championship fight.

Palmowski limits the damage with fifth place

Palmowski started seventh for the Reverse Grid Race and finished fifth, adding four points to her championship total.

The Campos Racing driver had dominated the previous round in Montréal, but Silverstone’s Reverse Grid format gave her more work to do. Nevertheless, she still scored points and moved from 78 to 82.

Palmowski therefore maintains the Drivers’ Championship lead heading into the Feature Race. However, Felbermayr’s win means her advantage has fallen from 25 points to 19.

Gademan jumps Bruce for third in the standings

Gademan was one of the biggest winners after the Reverse Grid Race. The Dutch driver started on the front row alongside Felbermayr and converted that position into second place.

That result added eight points to her total, moving her from 30 to 38 points. As a result, Gademan climbs from sixth to third in the Drivers’ Championship.

Bruce drops to fourth despite staying on 37 points after finishing ninth. Payton Westcott remains fifth on 36, while Maya Paatz stays sixth on 35 after finishing outside the points.

Lloyd closes in after podium finish

Lloyd strengthened her position in the top ten after finishing third at Silverstone. The McLaren-backed driver added six points, moving from 23 to 29.

She remains seventh in the standings, but now sits just six points behind Paatz and seven behind Westcott.

Rafaela Ferreira stays eighth on 27 points, while Alba Larsen remains ninth on 23. Natalia Granada completes the top ten on 17 after finishing 11th in the Reverse Grid Race.

Billard, Robertson, Dobson and Bättig add points

Lisa Billard finished sixth and moved to 15 points, closing the gap to Courtney Crone Countryman, who remains 12th on 14.

Renee Robertson scored her first points of the season with fourth place, moving up to 13th on five points. Ava Dobson also added two points for seventh, increasing her total to three.

Wild Card entrant Chiara Bättig continued her impressive debut weekend by finishing eighth and scoring two points. She now sits 16th in the standings as a Wild Card driver.
