Lewis Hamilton topped FP1 and managed pole at the 2026 F1 British GP Spring Qualifying. Next to him on the front row is Antonelli, followed by Verstappen. A characteristically good track for Hamilton, makes him the one to beat this weekend in Silverstone.
As lights go out, Norris makes it up to third as Verstappen drops down. Verstappen gets himself back up into fifth while Russell passes Norris to for third at the 2026 British GP Sprint Race.
After a battle between Russell and Norris, Verstappen takes Russell for fourth. The McLarens are looking strong this F1 British GP Sprint Race as Piastri moves into fifth.
Hadjar drops now out of the top 8 as we see both Racing Bulls and the Alpines move ahead of him. Antonelli builds a 6-second lead to Norris as they move through Lap 7.
The following lap, Antonelli breaks past the slip stream and moves past Hamilton on the hangar straight of Lap 8. Russell passes Verstappen in fourth for another great pass by Mercedes at the F1 British GP Sprint Race.
Hadjar makes it back into the points splitting the Racing Bulls, who around out the top 10 at the British GP Sprint Race. Antonelli earns himself a second sprint win this 2026 season as he crosses the line with a 2.7 gap to Hamilton.
